Nice post SAD :T
Nice to hear that life without Alcohol is OK and not a dreaded existance
Have a nice Xmas0 -
...I have made huge changes to my life to maintain my sobriety, resigned from my job and accepted I could,nt do it all and if this was having it all,I did,nt want it anymore.
Hi I`M SAD
Fantastic achievement Hun....sometimes there is a defining moment that changes the course of our lives...often its traumatic but we come out stronger for it.
I quoted the above as it really struck a chord with me. I too have quit my job this year , which I thought was my life, but have realised that it was making me more ill & more stressed which was adding to my need to reach for the bottle.
I really wish you a fantastic 2010....sounds like you have got your life back with you in control.

:santa2: Hi All,
Just popping in to say Happy Christmas and have a 'successful' new year:xmassign:
Sorry for my absence- though have to say have cut down now to a level I'm very happy with
It will probably go to pot over the next day or two but am now confident of keeping it down, especially during the week. :j
I also just wanted to say thank you everyone for your support, as without you lot I would have not been able to get on top of it. :A:A:A
Now - for a 5 hour read back to see how people are doing .....:rotfl:
What a load of chatterboxes:D
Best wishes
:kisses:
Have a good one

Not bad thanks Andy, feeling especially festive now that Martin Lewis is donning his santa hat
Well, it's official, I'm famous. Did I mention my gripe I had with the slippy roads at the shopping centre and the why the hell don't they grit the pavements as well as the roads and why the hell do we pay council tax, so I wrote to the local paper?? Well, they printed it :undecided with my name and address underneath
Just remembered to take the turkey and beef out the freezer  hope it defrosts in time.....
Anyone have an answer on my 'how to cook beef properly' question?DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

Jo - :rotfl::rotfl:at your bus trips! Makes my morning seem positively lazy!
All fun and games here. OH working till 3 and STILL has to get presents. And Piglet has a mucky eye this morning so had the pharmacist look at it at Boots. They agreed with me - looks like start of conjunctivitis. So he's on anti-bacterial drops (which he throws the screaming ab-dabs about). I have to go to work at 2 so Piglet got to go to Mums. So its all rushing around today. I'm calm.....I'm calm......
Lets look at it in a positive way...at least I haven't superglued MY fingers together!!!
