My work is sort of sorted - I have NO excuses to be sitting here drinking rather than engaging with my life.

Welcome to Steph - its a good bunch!!

HUgs chaps and happy Saturday - NO updates for me Marru but I do hope you are feeling better xx

Sticks out a stripey toe at the rest of you - much to do - OH arrives tomorrow for 15 days woop whoop

    Morning Fay

I've no updated numbers either Marru thank you muchly. I went out for a meal with the work crowd and had 3 halves of lager. I know I shouldn't be drinking at all but to be fair I am amazed that I only had the 3 (we were there 3 hours!) and then resisted the invitation to go on to where all the other work crowd were in a pub up the road which would have resulted in me being out till 2am totally off my trolley and hungover this morning. But no, I was in by 10.30pm, got pjs on, watched enders then was in bed by 11.10pm :D I'm off to have the barnet cut soon and will be sitting in her chair without a hangover which makes a change, then back home for a whole fun filled day of housework :)

Hope you all have a lovely weekend xx

It's going to be snowing up your way today Fay, just saw it on the telly, your hardly visible little island on the map disappeared under a white snow cloud :)

Right, gotta be at the hairdressers at 9am but need to get out there now and scrape the ice off the car

  • Jo - hope the hairdresser goes great - Darn this global warming milarkay we only have squally slush no snow - fingers crossed I guess

Fires blazing away now - MSE-ish as the wood was given us or we collected it from the beach and I chopped it up myself :)

Off to get on with some chores!

  • Morning everyone, thermometer hovering around the zero mark here and pavements icy so very glad I'm not going anywhere. Bought a big jar of Green and Black's hot chocolate yesterday to keep us cosy. This will be present wrapping day if I can remember where I've stashed them all:o. Plus putting up tree, making mince pies - all the Christmassy stuff.

Sounds like we've been doing pretty well:T especially considering Christmas temptations. Great to see Lurky delurking with such a great post.

19 days for me now please Marru.
