  • Hey all
    No snow here either

Lurks what a lovely post - don't feel much of a fighty thing today although OH says I have 'terrier syndrome' (being a small fiesty red head person!)

  • Hi all,

Whos up for alcohol free weekend??

What are peoples weekend plans? I have AA step meeting tonight and hope that will give me strength to get through a busy stressful shopping weekend!!

Wished I could stop thinking about oblivion and having a glass of wine. Ha ha one glass would lead to a three day bender, hurting all my family, insulting and arguing with everyone, then a few days of shakes and sweats and generally feeling like !!!!!!!!

Why have I got such a short memory.

Sober happy christmassy wishes to you all!!

Marru can I please ask about the table?? Bit confuddled!!

Click it, it is a link to the spreadhseet. I wasn't clever enough to put a spreadsheet here as an image, ask HB she knows that I did try, so had to put a link instead.

I have now finished work for this year. After work xmas lunch went back to work to finish some bits and pieces until eventually our CEO had to kick me out :o at least I have good excuse for not doing what was left undone.

Now just have a dilemma about Sunday, planning to go to London so DD can meet her God Mother whome she hasn't met for one and half years but their youngest has been poorly and they don't want new bugs around (I am still functioning for sheer power of paracetamol) and if it is going to snow don't really fancy the drive. From where I come from we have different set of tyres for winter driving and not happy driving in winter conditions with summer "sleeks".

I am up for AF weekend and AFJ. Something happened in October that just clicked the switch for me as now I start feeling about alcohol same as smoking (I quit smoking 1992 and can't imagine smoking ever again).

Updating scores as soon as DD is in bed.

It is as came to that conclusion as well. If I am still coughing like this (which is likely) it is pointles to go. Will send a nice xmas flower arrangement (through Quidco of course).

    Ok scores are here:

Pledged 498 had 232 AF days which is 47% in 55% of time

    And the full table here

Off to bed I go hoping that DD won't wake me up too early.
