Seem to be going backwards
Plus going to some swanky members club with oldest (in time, we've known each other since we were 11 and we're now 37 ) friend tomorrow, her xmas treat to me. I had been planning all along to not drink and drive to the station so it'll be easier to get home from central London and now I'm going backwards it's making that decision harder and harder.
When I get to 'work' I'm going to read back my posts from the last month or so of AF'ness and get some inspiration.
Have a great day

Jo, beating this battle with alcohol is the most important thing you will do , if not in your life, certainly this week, month, year. you have done so well to do month free from booze that you need to put in place crisis management procedures to make you not take that first drink. Even if you blow out your friend and sit at home with your mouth duct taped shut if it means you don't drink then it will be worth it (may get a few comments from the family tho!).
you can do it because ultimately you are bigger than the booze.Trying to keep in budget.

morning all! hope you are all well. little bro came to visit yesterday and we celebrated my new job with a bottle of elderflower presse - impressive eh? Never thought I would EVER EVER do that as champagne is my usual celebratory tipple, so am feeling ultra chuffed. It tasted lovely too and I had almost the whole bottle to myself as he moved on to beer! :-)) I dont feel like I have missed out at all.
So that's 3 please Marru - absolutely loving the spreadsheet!

Morning all, am still on 1 Marru but am not too dispondant as I only had 2 small baileys last night whilst writing christmas cards, I have set my target fairly low as I want to make sure I am having some af days, but leave myself plenty of slack so that I can try to be moderate iyswim...
The mood definitely seems a bit low at the moment, it could be all the planning and kefufal that surrounds getting organised for christmas (not to mention the strain on the budget ) So I have challenged myself to be completely ready (christmas cards written and ready to post, parcels done ready to post and christmas presents wrapped and ready) by this Sunday...am pretty close anyways so should be ok, then I can hopefully relax a bit more and not have a constant nagging in my head of what needs doing....
Happy Friday all, am going to aim for an af night tonight, dh is going out at 4pm and I will be home alone with the kids who are currently really bad at going to bed so am going to skyplus I'm a celebrity and give up on my evening tonight, I think I often drink in the evenings as by the time the kids are asleep I feel like I have run a marathon and deserve a 'treat'...Starting with Avon C6 target sales £150.000 -
hey 69chick, maybe you just need to try out some alternative "treats"? I've been trying : doing my nails, having hot chocolate (most preferable!), having a nice relaxing bath whilst listening to radio, then put face pack on!, early night/book/horlicks - hopefully not old-grannyish (as presumably you are just 40?), more of a pamper/me-time kind of thing. It certainly sounds like you have "earnt" it! Good luck tonight.Sick and tired of waking up sick and tired...

Think I have sussed it.
Sorry for the poor quality but I only have a rubbish cheap digital camera and it does not really do it justice.
Be prepared for tacky at it finest0 -
