Hi all
Welcome back honey and cazza- you've been sorely missed.
YM- loving the house, we have a whole cul-de-sac round here where every house does this- as a MSE treat I take the kids round there to have a look- they raise loads of money for local charities every year and it makes everyone smile. Well done you!!!!!
Hope everyone is OK tonight- good luck peeps.0 -

Evening,
YM - your house looks AMAZING! What a wonderful gift to the neighbourhood. I used to be strictly 12 days before Christmas, but now I love getting everything up on 1st Dec and enjoying it all for the full month.
Cazza - great to have you back, and thanks for your honesty. As others have said, we're all there too or have been there. What's great about this place is that you can say anything and there's always someone who has been there and totally gets it.
Jo - thinking of you, but not sure what to say to help. Guess we're always just that one drink from being 'back there' if you know what I mean.
Have been doing really well on the AF front for a couple of months, but succumbed to some wine last night. Bought a mini bottle (stress of work was the excuse) so supply was limited but - had it been there - I could have drank a lake. Even after weeks of abstention (sp) it's like this HUGE lust for it once I have a taste.
And that's why I can't do moderate and must must must remember the thing about 'if you don't pick up that 1st drink, you can't get drunk'.
One of the guys at work frequently turns down drinks with the comment '1 is too many, 1,000 not enough'. I often wonder if he's someone who's expereinced AA and maybe a kindred spirit.
Sorry for the ramble. I know what I need to do - not ever pick up that 1st drink - it's just that sometimes it's so much easier said than done.

We're here for the rambling, sweetie
This was supposed to be a more comforting/encouraging post but every sentence has gone to pot - I'm tired & have had some wine

What do you think to the polar bear avatar? Want to get a flavour of winter & Christmas but I'm not sure that quite hits it@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0

How about:"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
