Yes, off to the private members bar tonight, you know
I've looked at their website and their cocktails (AF or otherwise) all start from £9.50  thank the lord it's a crimbo treat from my friend otherwise we'd only be in there 5 minutes :rotfl:
ETA: then promptly chucked out for ordering a glass of tap water :rotfl:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Most bizarre, just dropped DS at party and the girl's dad is someone who used to be in my class at school, not seen him for 22 years :eek:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0

Afternoon all
Still on 3 Marru. Went out with 3 friends from work last night for a curry. Drank, but not to excess. My Mum was most surprised when I was unhungovered today and able to take her shopping!:rotfl: Had a lovely evening, great company and great conversation and I'm so pleased I was able to enjoy it without getting completely bladdered. Now, if I could manage that all the time I'd be laughing!:rotfl:
I'm not drinking tonight. Although I do feel like it....OH being distinctly off (he gets very funny when I go out for an evening...long story but basically involves him being insecure due to his first wife blah blah blah) so have to put up with that for a couple of days till he gets over it!
But tonight I will be wrapping last of the presents, finishing off the crimbo cards and generally getting myself organised. And I'm damned sure I'll do it all better without a bottle of wine inside me!:rotfl:
Take care all, catch up later
Miss P
