Forgot, just wanted to say, well done to all of you who have managed to give up smoking. My Mum and Dad smoked heavily all their lives with numerous attempts at giving up. They finally kicked it when Mum had a major heart attack. So I know how hard it can be. Well done people!:j

hi
lots to make me smile on heretoday! THanks
I too am thinking about quitting fags but was told in no uncertain termsnot to even think about it atfirst when giving up the booze! Excited here as it's nearly 6 months sober, one day at a time. Never would have thought it possible!!OFf to AA meeting today as I'm off work and looking forward to it!
Sea xxxx
Good for you Sea - I was told that I should put my energy into quitting booze first, and then have a look at giving up the ciggies.
Smoking was not going to cost me my job, and was not making me black out, or making me wet the bed.
