Hi Budgie,
Good to 'see' you.I am good thanks ...plodding on as usual.
Mr MP. is doing well.....not being AF but just drinking a couple of cans on weekend nights.(He used to get through 3 bottles of whisky a week)so doing really well.
He is very lucky as he knows when to stop and in 30 odd years I have only ever seen him drunk once and that was on DD1s wedding day.(And then he was a happy drunk).
Anyway....good luck for Mr BB.Hope he soon gets some work. And good luck to you with your cutting down.
Take care of you

Hello,
Apologies for not having been able to catch up. You have been so chatty since I logged off last night.
I have less than an hour to get my A tasks done and then I can do my F stuff: drive up to see BF.
That is 13 for me please GG

Hi Budgie and everyone,
Jo thanks for that post. What a difference a month has made to you. Wow.
BHB, now I'm really worried you'll disappear for even longer if Mrs BHB has Molly's other whip
Budgie, so glad to hear Mr B is better in himself and hope things pick up for him and 'his' job comes along soon. It really gets you down being out of work for a while. I must remember that when I'm knackered from my job, it's been over 3 months already; finally getting used to it.
I'm still on 5 for this month but I feel fairly relaxed about it today. I've been reading and thinking a lot recently. I may step off the wagon until Monday, my focus will be on trying to keep track of my units. I keep intending to do that but after the first couple it goes out the window. I plan to write down each drink before I drink it. I've gone back to Marcantonio Spada's book this week and always skipped over the action parts but keeping a drink diary is step 1 so I'll actually try and do it for a change.

Well tonight I am having some wine. Feels much better knowing I waited all week for it. I am really stuck on the idea of only drinking Friday and Saturday - like I used to years ago. Staying AF on work nights has been so good for me this week and last week. No squeezy head in the mornings... more focussed. Weeing a lot more!!
But for tonight I am drinking wine with Friday night nibbles, and tomorrow I shall have something to drink while watching X-Factor, but come Sunday night back to herb teas and a clear head. You should hold me to that!
)
How many of us I have read are getting such a chufty from lying in our beds stone cold sober? It really is great, and to be able to read a book before going to sleep. I used to worry about not being able to drop off without a drink but the herbal night time teas are taking care of that.Wendy x0 -

I'm here
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Noticed that fedupski is busy with lots of cleaning (your fault jo!) and preparing for Christmas but pleasingly has got a November AF cutting-down target in her sig.
This week not too much cleaning this week as been back at work for the first week.
AFD in the sig is correct 7/13 so far and I have knocked back quite a bit of a bottle of wine tonight so far as I feel so mentally hammered today. (yes I know this won't help/work/make me feel better - I don't want it to, I know it is not a coping strategy or help)In fact, where the h£ll is all the regulars??
Thought I'd better pop on tonight as I haven't posted at all this month. Miss you all reggies x But haven't posted as focused on cleaning while off and now back at work feel like this posted below.
Am nursing my broken heart by that t*ss*r, withdrawing into myself, tears flow, stop, well up, drip out, store up. Heart in pain, eyes in pain, face looks painful. Trying to ease out of the pain and stop the cause of the pain and let it go. Keeping on trying.
Hope you lot are as chatty and happy as you always are and if I read back a billion pages a smile or two will be raised I am sure

wish that day would come too
I am surrounded at work by young 'uns who are happy living their happy young life making me reflect on mine unhappily.
So, people I have managed to tell what has happened without crying have told me worse things that have happened to them by their ex's.
Wishing that day to come soon to be stronger, happier and at peace with lifefinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
