Just a flying visit to say hello to all ,esp PBT and Jo; how much I identify with what you went thru ,Jo. I had exactly the same sort of thoughts and,like you,cannot believe I was ever in that awful place such a short time ago.And I totally agree that alcohol caused and maintained my depression that's ebbed and flowed in varying degrees over the years. And that has gone too! It feels such a revelation, like I have a new,lovely future ahead of me and my family now. I find it weird (and am very grateful) that it did not take as long as I imagined it would to feel like this either.
Don't get me wrong,I still think about alcohol at times,but not first thing in the morning anymore and the craving has gone totally.
By the way ,I listen to Paul mc Kenna ("change your life")daily too and find it a real feel-good boost ,if that may help anyone?
PS Bottle Green's elderflower and ginger cordial and soda is my fave drink for the XFactor at the weekends:p Love to you all xx
