  • Evening folks,

Hope everyone's doing well. Let me know if you want to set a target for November. This is what I've got on my spready so far...

    69chick: 20
    Fay: 30
    Jo: 30
    Marru: 30
    MollyP: 30
    Winebox: no target

Should be nice and easy to keep track off if it stays like that, but it would be great to have more on board.

    xx

Goodluck GG (there's currently about 38 on my spreadsheet) - so I am sure they will all turn up in dribs and drabs

    What a lovely bunch :)

Even if its a bit like herding cats :rotfl:

Where is everyone  (aside you lovely lot???)

In the land of Northern Ireland all the minibuses have wifi (or maybe its just my iphone?)

Hello to all - well done to those at 44hrs of the 72 hour challenge :D

Lots on here - no writing done - oh well - :o
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
    minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:
    :money:Sleeves up folks.:money:

I really craved a glass of wine from 5pm until 6.30pm. Remained strong and drank pop instead.

Craving passed by 7pm - this is becoming a very regular occurrence these days - must be to do with the argument in mind over not drinking

So now then we are nearly 44hrs into the 72hr challenge and today I am AF!

Well done fedupandsparkly. I, too had that argument for about exactly the same amount of time and I stuck to tea, water and then just had my hot chocolate. It's really not easy but I do want to try to stick the 72hour challenge.

HB, all is not lost you could do 72 hrs but not all at once. Why not go for tomorrow and Friday?

Well done everyone else who's AF tonight and jo you're being an absolute star :T

GG, thanks so much for your offer of scoring. Definitely count me in and I'll give you a target number ASAP.

Glad you're in touch from Belfast fay and well done for resisting in the bar.

    13AF please (and £43.33)

don't ask what i'm doing up & at work at this time... :(

maman, am going to aim for 48hrs so today & tomorrow. Friday & Saturday I have socialising plans that will involve drinking & I'm really looking forward to (the socialising, not just the fact I can drink! ;)) I'll see how things go tho :)

Morning all! Hope you're all well, I'm doing OK despite a cough that's come out of nowhere (or it could be the same one I've had for about two months that just goes away enough for me not to notice it..)

115K - yeah, I've done that before too :D. I just get really tired these days (it's age - been tested for various nasties and it's none of them.) I often start to nod at about 7.00 pm, but come 11.00 can I get to sleep? Can I b****...

Fay, I'm up to 27 now. God, never thought I'd say that!

Yep, put me down for 30.

Two days to family bash. I'm honestly trying to not think about it (and not succeeding :(.) Got to go though - can't chicken out. I'm just going to have to endure lots of whisky toasts without actually participating: now, it's not because of the booze element so much as the tradition, and part of me feels I'll be letting the side down if I don't toast properly (I know it sounds ridiculous in text, but when it's a tradition with which you've been brought up, in a family in which tradition is very important, it does take on a strong emotional response.)

That's why I'm more worried about this weekend than any other sundry occasion to which I've been since deciding to give the sauce the heave-ho.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

AF last night so that's 26 please Fay. Hope you are having fun in "Norn Iron" (that's how you have to say it!).
Got whooped on the tennis court last night by 13 year old stepson - still, at least I did loads of running around whilst he stood there looking chuffed!
Thank you GG for offering to score in November. I always think it's a funny month! Dark and kind of silently waiting for the excitement of Christmas! I love it though. Can you please put me down for 28. I have two parties that month and so am giving myself some leeway, although I kind of plan not to have to use it. Thanks.
