    In my mind ;)

Was going to be AF today but OH's dad is in hospital with head injurys after a car hit him and her Nephew ( 18 months old ). Thankfully Nephew is Ok with bruising and cuts to the head but OH's Dad is having a cat scan and does not look good.

The Car that hit them tried to get away but got caught by the Police luckily so looking after girls as OH is at the hospital.

    Hope to pop in later

Been to the dump twice :D

    (that's the rubbish dump WB.....)

    *sigh*....my reputation goes behind me.....;)

Am so excited!!!! (not a usual wb state.....).....one can't get a "cheap day return" to London anymore  (you can to Bristol, funny that!) (erm, any Bristolians on here? :o) so....having found out how extortionate the train fare is am going the whole hog & staying with DD in hotel in S Kensington. Woo hoo!!! Last min deal makes it cheaper (by £1 ) than Travelodge..gosh, as one-who-don't-get-out-much-these-days..am hyperventilating.

    And...breathe....

I lived in central London for 10 years so know my way round a bit, but left back in 1990  so any hints from you city dwellers as to what's best to do with a 10 yr old? So far my plans are the museums in S Ken, & Harrods, maybe Hamleys (she may be a bit old?), London Dungeon...all she can say is "can we have pizza"...aren't kids annoying?! We do have it at home btw!

ETA I meant, we do have pizza at home sometimes

Latest news is that he may have a dislocated hip and Shoulder and they are awaiting the results of cat scan to see if there is internal bleeding or head damage. Still has the head collar on and must have been bad as the roads were closed and possible Air Ambulance intervention ( Not needed thank god )

Oh my never an easy path through life is there
