Hi all glad to see this thread is still going strong just popped in to see how you are all doing .... Had a wee glance at the first thread and found a post I made back in march last year .... It's amazing how life can change ... I had had enough of drinking but was worried incase I couldn't stop ... Thanks to alot of support from here determination and a cognative shift on my part I am pleased to say I have not drank now in nearly 18 months ... I can't see me going back to it either just wish I could have the cognative shift about my health now ... Hubby still drinks in fact it is getting worse and it will split us up ... It is slowly destroying my love for him but I have to accept it is his choice .... Good luck to you all on your personal journeys and keep going0

Morning
Property.advert. Agree on the price thing and well done you for realising what was happening.
Great to see you popping in elantan, inspiring that you can't see yourself going down the road again. As for DH, I wish I had words/advice for you. Just take care, you are always very inspiring across the boards. TY.
I'm here to report 18/30, feel like I've overcome the X-Factor trigger. Won't say the bells are silent. However some words that Jo said a few weeks ago 'the anticipation is always better than the act' or words to that effect pop into my mind in weak moments.
Having said that I haven't put myself in a social 'drinking' situation in the last month. The thing is I don't want to. Bit like Cazz's meetings with her old friend.
Hope we are okay this autumnal Sunday morning.DC.

Morning all
Hope everyone is doing OK. I am at work ATM and sorted out little problem yesterday so should have a nice quiet one
elentan I found your post quite sad actually regarding your OH. Hopefully I am not the same now as I was putting drink before my family and I could see myself mirrored in your OH. Hope something happens to re ignite your relationship ( if that is what you want of course)
Going to be a lovely day down souf today and I hope it is the same where you are

Not doing so well again here - now up to 104 units for the month YM
Best you start to swing the bat !!
Need to give myself a good talking to and pull my socks up
Have been a bit stressed - but guess thats no excuse
Think I need to get to the gym againUnfortunately there is not one I particularly like locally, and would have to go 10 miles for a nice one.
May have to think about that some more.
Best wishes
have a great day everyone

Morning BHB
Instead of the gym could you maybe get out for a run or something instead? Cheaper & would save on petrol etc too@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0 -
Never mind BHB. Look on the bright side. You only have 21 units left to use this month so you will get some more AF days in before the end of the month. After all we have 10 days to go yet
