Marru, you seem so burdened down right now that life is tough for you so I think you should interpret that dream as a sign of things to come as you keep working through it all ie.it will get lighter & easier :)

Equally, if you can make the time, running is a great form of exercise :)

And Fedupski (can't type FUAS anymore, makes you sound like a government agency! ) I wish you the best of luck with your positive plan. I'm impressed with how you've been dealing with it all so yay to you :T

  • Sorry I haven't been around. This is the first time I've been able to use the computer because of my neck pain. It's been a total nightmare!

The osteopath said it would take 4 sessions to sort out £100+ The doctor gave me codeine and diazepam  The painkillers did take the edge off the pain, but it was always constantly there pi**ing me off if you know what I mean. I've been so impatient with the boys but it's been so hard coping with the pain.

Anyhow, I'm much better now. It's still there but at about 40% of what it was. I'll hopefully sleep tonight. I've been lucky to get 2 hours the past week or so.

Again, sorry for the relapse in posting. Seems to have been one thing after another lately

    Much love X
    Need to start again :o

blissysmile.gifFor Jo.. nice to see you.... this is me on the 72 hour run....!!

Catch ya later... especially at this speed....:D

    Hi everyone,

T2gu, please can I join you, from the sofa though. And only if it doesn't involve goats and parrots. Unless we're eating them. Bit confused about that part to be honest.

Yesterday wasn't AF for me, but it was initially quite MSE as there was free booze. The trip down the pub afterwards wasn't though.

Back off to bed again now.

    Morning all :hello:

Another AF evening for me:D. The only thing I downed last night were a couple of large mugs of Hot Chocolate (made with water not milk). Filling in my diet spreadsheet this morning was ace - so much better when I don't drink and don't get the dreaded munchies:EasterBun

GOOD LUCK with the weekend everyone.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Morning all! 14 for me please Fay. So good to hear that most people seem to be doing so well. Good luck to those that are getting there and to those that are trying so hard and have many difficult things to deal with right now.

Like Icelandic Maiden, am feeling able to go to th supermarket and not even glance at the wine any more - find that unbelievable!

It really feels like I've turned a corner and seen the light (if that's not mixing my metaphors too early in the day!). I understand now that it really is a change in lifestyle - and a positively good one! I havent got that dread any more of "how will I ever manage without a drink?". One day at a time though...

Skin and eyes look better/clearer (whites of eyes actually white and not yellow!) and even my hair feels/looks healthier - or is that my imagination? And with all the extra "time" I have found from not sitting slumped in front of telly slinging wine down my neck every evening, have been able to do my nails, generally pamper self and even - get this! - have even brushed and flossed my teeth before bedtime!! (never did that before as too p*ssed and scared of injury!).

    have a good day everyone!
