Morning everyone! Sorry that some of you are feeling under the weather or just plain grumpy. Dont blame the change of seasons! Think of all the good things :
- blackberries for free everywhere
- leaves on the trees turning into beautiful colours
- slight crispness in the air which is great when you go for a walk in the morning (esp if you have a dog!)
- good excuse to get jimjams and warm socks on early in the evening and curl up in front of telly/with good book
- you can drink plenty of hot chocolate!
- time to cook yummy things in slow cookers and eat jacket spuds
- autumn evenings can be spent making gifts (or lists!) to get organised in time for Christmas - means you wont get caught on the hop and will also save you money
- also can start planning next year's vegetable gardening
- soon be time for conkers, halloween and bonfires - yeah!!
YM, that's 16 for me please!
Thanks Mrs Dee
This post has really cheered me up. Reminded me what is good about autumn/winter. My local coop is now selling Christmas selection boxes:eek:
