Arr, me hearties, see you're embracing the day right heartily
I'm now off t' t' station t' meet a bucko

But that means I'm glad you're getting into the spirit of things, chums. And I'm off to the station to meet a friend)

Morning everyone:hello:
I hope you all had a good night....We went for the curry....22 of us and only 2 peeps sober/driving.
We went to the pub first and by the time we got to the curry house at least half of them were too drunk to appreciate the curry. And some couldn't even eat much at all.As we had all pre-ordered and paid there was no deciding you wouldn't bother going so consequently alot was wasted.
When you consider the bill was over £400 and about one third was chucked away.....Such waste....and all down to alcohol.
OK.Off my high horse now.
Have a great weekend all.
Love Mollypollyxxxx
PS.....I ate all mine:D:happylove :happylove

everyone!!
Sorry to hear about bad days,
Not brilliant start for me as woke up 1am sick and with dreadfull tummy ache. Due to losing pretty much everything that I had inside my digestive system I woke up with head ache due to dehydration. Hoping now to be able to keep my breakfast and about gallon of water that I have consumed since getting up.
Busy day ahead so please wish me luck. Need to go to small things DFW thread to post my to do list to add to the motivation."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

MP, well done on the AF night out, food is definately enjoyed far more sober, what a waste of expensive YUMMY food! Now I want curry and it's not even 11am!
Marru, sorry to hear you're not well, I hope you feel better soon. What's caused it? xxDFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

Morning,
Broke the rules last night - had at least a bottle of wine in the pub, made an a*se of myself phoning and texting folk. Feel carp this morning.
I remember how happy and more like the 'real' me I felt a few years back when completely AF for 8 months or so.
So...it's time to stop being so blooming deluded, face up to things once and for all and admit I'm powerless over this.
Inspired by GC, RA, MP, Eselt, Bis and Caz (apologies to other other AF-ers I've forgotten to menton) I'm giving up. I think there's an AA meeting very local to me on Mondays - will give it serious thought over the weekend and think I might go along.
I'm REALLY ready for change this time. Enough is enough.
Have lovely weekends everyone.

Phoned AA - local meeting 8pm Monday. Should be home in time. Think I'll give it a go.

Good luck GG, and well done for taking the first step (which is ironically the first AA step too, admitting you are powerless over alcohol
), good luck for Monday xx

Thanks Jo. Thought I was ok, but the minute the lady answered the phone I burst into tears! All over the place emotionally. But really want to be free of this.
You're doing really well btw.

Hi GG, good luck with your plan!
I had 3/4 of a bottle of white wine last night, after 2 glasses I could feel the effects and had one more glass. Woke up groggy not surprisingly at all as when I went to bed I knew this would be how I feel.
Seem to have discovered a trigger link between Strictly Come Dancing and wine which I had forgotton about from last couple of years. Better learn how to deal with this over the next 3mths.
2 glasses of orange juice, a coffee, cup of tea and a berocca later and cleaned the bathroom grogginess lifts. Off to finish the cleaning now and then have another mega boring weekend on my own."Here on my own again" by who?final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
