FREE SLAP IN THE FACE! BEWARE OF VIKING DIRECT!!

FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT ARE THINKING OF ORDERING ITEMS FROM VIKING DIRECT FOR A FREE GIFT, THEN THINK AGAIN!!!! I GENUINELY ORDERED STATIONARY ITEMS + THE FREE GIFTS....HOWEVER VIKING DIRECT ARE A LITTLE SLOW AND THEREFORE GOT SOME OF MY ORDERS WRONG/DELIVERED IT TO THE WRONG PLACE. AFTER 5 PHONECALLS OVER 3 WEEKS THEY MANAGED TO TAKE THE GOODS AWAY WITH NO APOLOGY OF COURSE (IF YOU KEEP IT OVER 30 DAYS YOU ARE BILLED FOR IT). WHEN I CALLED UP TO PLACE AN ORDER ONLINE I WAS TOLD

VIKING DIRECT: There are a large number of returns on this account where the goods are not suitable or not required. Our goods do not seem up to your standard and we will not be supplying any more for this reason.
ME: WELL I WILL BE TAKING THIS FURTHER AS SEVERAL OF THE ITEMS WERE RETURNED DUE TO VIKING DIRECT MIS DELIVERING IT OR SUPPLYING THE WRONG ITEM! THEREFORE THOSE REASONS SHOULD BE THE LISTED REASONS! NOT TO MENTION HAVING PROBLEMS WITH RETURNS!!!!!

AFTER I TOLD HIM THIS HE CUT THE LIVE CHAT!!! THEY ARE REALLY TOUCHY!! AND THIS IS AFTER IVE SPENT £100 WITH THEM IN THE COURSE OF 6 WEEKS!

Same here - have ordered with Viking a few times now. After the first time they ring up for a customer service call and after that I was offered printer paper at 9p a ream.

I have always found their delivery to be quick and accurate and the goods to be fine. They are overpriced for some things but the freebies are good!!!! ;D

I've never had a problem either. when they've made a mistake they've always rectified it and compensated me for the inconvenience

well perhaps ive been speaking to the wrong people..........ive never been compensated and was told by two of their agents that my return rates are too high!!!!
