keep on going.
keep on budgeting.
keep on trying and working hard.
don't give up.
as well as "fighting the financial fires" you also need to spend some time looking to the future and the bigger picture - like the vaibility of the business
and keeping the house - to make sure that your heroic efforts are focused in the right direction.
you're doing the right things.0 -
Hi Heddwen - Don't forget to get to the CAB or contact some agency!!! (Am I getting irritating - sorry.) That is your priority over all other business/house ideas. (Find out where you stand now and take the pressure off by letting someone else negotiate for you.)Torgwen..........

Hi,
Anybody out there help me with a question?
How long does arrears stay on your credit files even after the arrears have been paid off.
Thanx in advance.
SpikeyUse your judgement, and above all, be honest with yourself.I walk with the world & the world walks with me!I don't make bad choices!!! Other people just fail to see my GENIUS !!!!0 -
Have a look in your local paper for vacancies in pubs. They take on all sorts of people for part time work, often pay cash in hand and they only require in their staff a pleasant disposition and be able to add up.
When I was a penniless student they were a godsend!!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Unfortunately our Easter weekend has been awful, starting from last Thursday our dog Guinness has rapidly been going downhill, the vet diagnosed malignant cancerous growths last Thursday and it got so bad he was suffering as they grew from nowhere almost. Last night (Sat) was horrendous as we sat up with him all night as he was struggling to breath and settle. The vet was due to see him today anyhow so on calling the emergency vet last night it was the same one so she said to give him asprin, which he wouldn't take.
We took him in first thing this morning (Sunday) at 10am to emergency and sadly had him put to sleep. We are naturally devastated (I know you'll understand) but at least Guinness is happy now.
Have a good bank holiday tomorrow.0 -
