Donating Hair

I'm having my hair cut off this saturday, I'm going to donate it to little princesses too - I'm a bit scared about having much shorter hair though! :eek::eek::eek:

The little princesses site suggested donating money via justgiving, so that's what I've set up - it's only a small amount of the GiftAid that doesn't get to them apparently.

Actually the best thing is to do what the charity prefers.

If you, as an individual, phone and say you'd like to give the charity I work for some money, I'll be delighted to accept a cheque from you and send you a Gift Aid form if appropriate.

If you're running a marathon or having your hair shaved, and a number of your sponsors can use Gift Aid, I'll request you set up a page on the JustGiving website, because the amount they deduct for admin is significantly less than the costs of me dealing with the Gift Aid claim if you send me a creased sponsorship form, 16 cheques and a pile of £5 notes.
