Oh dear - I only got 8 out of 12.
My excuse is that I've only got one star so far and am still considered a 'newbie'

No need for excuses, on the contrary you're exceptional for posting as there's some interesting psychology going on here......

People who do well at something are far more likely to 'announce' this than people who don't do so well. The proof of this is that out of 24 people who have posted so far, 22 have scored 10 or more (so around 95% of these posters have got 10 or more). The actual amount of those who have taken the test who have scored 10 or more is only 40% (according to the info at the end of the quiz).

So the vast majority of people have actually scored less than 10/12, putting lillibet approximately into the average of the scores so far, certainly nothing to be ashamed of.

If 80% of people who take this test get 10/12 or less, then I think it's pegged at about the correct level, meaning the vast majority of people taking this test will learn 2 or more consumer related facts they were previously unaware of.

Yes, it does. Your rights will differ depending on where the contract was made, and also whether the double glazing firm contacted you, or you made the initial contact.

spot on dmg24, signing a contract in the home has a cooling off period but not if its signed in the showroom/factory.

Buying quality goods which last, should be an investment that saves money. :T
Buying cheap products which fail, wastes money and costs twice as much in the long run.
