Any idea how to get the WELCOMENOV09 code to work? It's a new account which Im using, but it says that it has already been used and is not valid - which isnt true.
Ive sent an email to ASOS, but probably wont get a response before this code expires, which is a pity as I really want to put an order in!
I am having same problem - have emailed them too - it says they will endeavour ot get back to you within the hour - we shall see?0 -
Thanks Malibusami... it seems to be working for some, but not for others, so maybe theyve stopped it. Unless they are going by delivery address, name and DOB, in which case they would know Im already a member? Thats the only thing I can think of?
Yeah bunnysw, they're usually quite good with replying to emails, but as it's Saturday it might take a little longer. To be honest, Im expecting a standard 'Sorry this code is not valid to use on your account' or something, which is what theyve said before when Ive emailed them about a code not working. Lets wait and see!0 -

Well they did reply - well done ASOS
"Unfortunately codes that are provided by online sources and not by Asos are often invalid. Whilst we occasionally have problems with codes that we supply to our customers, we cannot authenticate discounts that we have not directly issued.
If we sent you this code directly please confirm and I can look into the matter further
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me."
Hmmmm - now what to do!

It's not a good idea contacting ASOS about codes that haven't been sent to you directly.
They may start looking into where ppl are getting these codes from (i.e MSE) and tighten up on the codes that they issue.0 -

I don't think they could tighten up anymore if they tried - they're bloody tight enough as it is! I've used ASOS for donkeys years, but in recent years my spending with them has dramatically decreased as their prices have hiked and their discounts have become infrequent.
My motto is - 'if you don't ask, you don't get', so if I feel it's worth a try, I'm sorry, but I'll always send an email.0 -
