Hello mutley74
I thought about what you said and also about what peterpan1709 said.
I know this is about cost cutting but there are many other posts on here and another thread that have warned us to make sure they have researched this before surgery with links to that information and that could also be called the "technical aspects of it".
A diary has also been written of the surgery for us to read was posted.
There are no negative responses to any of these previous comments by yourself. And why should there be.
So are you saying every cost cutting article people must only post on that thread a name and provider and the cost.
No other article or thread does this, we post either information or experience, just like Skint73 just did, should he be told its a cost cutting thread and he has an agenda.
Not one post that has made a recommendation for surgery and go on to say how good the experience, has ever be told that its only about cost cutting and why are you so positive about it and you have an agenda in favour of eye surgery.
I wouldn't accuse them either of any agenda and remind them its about cost cutting so why are negative posts with information any different to any positive post.
I certainly hope johnfriths experience will be in the minority of cases.
All the major articles that I have ever read on here have loads of comments in them about the good and the bad no matter how cheap they are.0 -

I could only find this and one other thread and because other people had posted info on the downsides through this thread I thought it would be alright to post it here .0

Hi everyone
I have -7.5 and -6.5 vision at the moment and really am considering laser eye surgery. I am 25 years old.....however I am a bit confused about how people are choosing between all the clinics.
As I presume you people that have had it done did a load of research, anyone have a summary of why they picked their particular clinic? Also anyone with very bad eyes (like myself) had it done and did it work?
Thanks guys I am superly scared about ruining my eyes!

Optical express screwed up my glasses order 3 times and took about 6 months to get it right, and didn't even send me the compensation cheque they promised. So there is no way I would trust them with a laser on my eye ball.0

Laser eye treatment cant be used for ditching reading glasses.Unless you opt for monovision. But i think theres another treatment where they place some type of lens in your eye. Best to speak to treatment providers direct such as Optical Express and Ultralase for more advice as its an area outside of my understanding.0
