Sky or Freesat?

We have a digital freeview tv at the moment (inbuilt freeview). Would like to get sky, but not sure if its worth it. I have seen ads for Freesat and just wondering how it compares, anyone got it?

freesat is sky without the subscription, you will recieve nearly all the free view channels and the reception through the dish is better and it costs about £150.
I got rid of Sky coz I was fed up with paying for all the rubbish channels most of which I did'nt watch (and less bloody adverts), Tip buy second hand kit on Ebay and set it up yourself, you can buy a viewing card from sky.
    hope this helps

I think that freeview gets more channels than freesat.

freesat doesn't have E4 for free so if you're happy with freeview, stick with that over freesat.

if you're going to get freesat, there is some one-year deal for Sky with free install where you get 2 mixes too, I think - for £150 all inclusive. Same price as you'd pay for installation of freesat.... ;)
In the United Kingdom 200,000 people are bitten by dogs every year and some people will die as a result. Of those bitten, 70% are children... So the question has to be asked....... Has the time come to ban children?

If you go for freesat you still have your freeview box so you can still watch E4 etc. if you want.

Personally I don't think the Sky is worth it unless you live in an area where you can't get freeview.

A lot of the channels on Freesat seem to be really low budget Quizmania style channels, or shopping channels. I really can't see it being worth the extra cash compared to Freeview (unless you live in a none freeview area), especially considering it doesn't include E4 or MoFo

Thanks for all your tips, probably better sticking with Freeview then.
