Good morning everybody! After such a lovely week it was a bit of a shame to wake up to grey skies, but never mind. At least Christmas is coming!
We had a really busy weekend, travelling over 5 hours to visit my OH's aunt (who was 50 on Saturday). I don't mind visiting the in-laws, but it really does put me behind for the rest of the week - the house is still in the same state that it was in when I got home from work on Friday! Oh dear...
Plan for today is my Flylady chores, bake something yummy (went and bought a few extra bits for making dog biscuits, so puppy-dog should be pleased!). OH has promised to mow the lawn tonight, which I really hope he does as I'm worried I'll get lost in there one day!
I'd love to say I'll get more than that done but with a full-time job it's not easy to do all of this OS stuff. Any tips on that anyone?

Morning all. Not posted for a couple of days, just don't get chance when I do my longer shifts at work, am too tired. Work been manic, so glad to have 2 days off.
Foster cat had pooped on the sofa this morning, not sure what that is all about.Luckily it was hard, so picked it up and given it a clean. Hopefully its just a one off.
Kids off to school, they make their own lunches now which is wonderful. Teaches them that Mum isn't there to do every single thing in their life!
Desperately need to do washing (and the dreaded ironing, my least favourite job) today. Meeting some tesco friends for coffee at 10 (where we all discuss coupons, sure it sounds deadly dull to the majority of you, but we enjoy it!), and need to take my library books back to avoid being fined!
Tonight DD has swimming training, so need to think about an early tea for her. Not sure what it will be yet, sure inspiration will come to me at some point in the day!
Have a great day.0 -
Yay The sun has come out, just taken the Miss to school she has gone in all happy and smiley. I am halfway through the fly lady chores and in a minute I am going to take my pooch over the park to give him and the master a wearing out. Might see if there are any blackberries left and grab some of those.
Do you think i could put blackberries in a muffin. Might have a go later.
Feeling a lot more organised today, not so lost its 9.30am and my house looks reasonable.
thanks Ladies.

Morning folks
Everyone has been very busy on here! Lucky you, Tru, with your visit. That cider sounded good too!
Sunny and windy here. Have our bedding in WM. I have a massive pile of ironing to do. I've been putting it off but think some at least will need to be tackled. Also have some heather to plant out. I know I've been saying this for ages but at least I've got the compost now to give them a good start!
Good luck with the house viewers redruby _ we haven't had any for a while but we're keeping on top of having a tidy house so that's something! I think the house selling/ buying business in England is sooo tense with this chain business. This is my 2nd time round of selling here and am moving back to Scotland so at least our house is chain free. I'm always a bit worried that people pull out though. Ah well.
Ok, 2nd cup of tea before I head into town.
(((hugs))) to those under the weather or feeling sad.

Good Morning All! Have really not been doing anything much recently - have read on here occasionally, but been distracted! Anyhow, hopefully this week I shall actually get back on track once more. My only recent achievement has been to completely empty the ironing basket - and keep it clear by ironing each load promptly. (Won't last long tho'!) Am making progress with DH's cardigan - one sleeve to go!
Yesterday I made a huge list of everything I'd like to get done, going round the house room by room.... Could keep me busy from now until forever! Why is it that actually making a list feels good, even if nothing on it can be crossed off yet?
Need to get towels washed - looks a reasonable day for drying here. Need a good general clearing session downstairs too. Also need to get BM in action. Chicken curry tonight, using up roast from yesterday.
Hope you all have a good day - and ((HUGS)) to all who need one.Resolution:

TRU - River Cottage sounded FAB:beer:
Redruby - Enjoy your lunch out
Abit chilly here today, i even took hot water bottle to bed last night
DD2, me and DS all have the lurgy so no pre-school for her today. Have made choc fork biscuits with her already, but started diet today so non for me .
Have put the BIG chicken in the oven for the day, so will convert into various meals, chicken and mushroom pasta, chicken curry, chicken fried rice, my lot will be sick of the sight of chicken by the end of the week.
need to nip out for milk later but thats it, so not much planned today apart from the usual dailies.
Hope you all have a great day x

Morning peeps
cold and breezy here today, i wasn`t sure whether or not it would rain earlier so i haven`t put the washing out on the line yet but the sky does seem to be a bit brighter so i shall hang it out shortly.
The dishwasher has been emptied and the breadmaker too and i have had a quick run through the kitchen but thats about all i`ve managed so far.
The last thing that i remember from the early hours is lounging on the sofa watching CSI - the next thing i knew is that it was this morning and i woke on the sofa snuggled in my dressing gown with freezing feet and a glass of brandy on the little table in front of me
I have two cupboards to empty later today - i`m setting myself little targets so that i don`t get bogged down with it all as there is an awful lot to do, i`m going to take full advantage of my days off w*rk and work my way through as many items on my list of things to do as possible
Later i shall re-measure my living room and also the door, i`m not sure whether the sofa i like will fit, it will all fit in the room fine but i`m not sure whether or not it will fit around a tight corner and through the door  i`m rubbish at trying to w*rk things like this out so i may enlist the help of Dad who is very good at this sort of thing, i can see myself sat in the garden on the new sofa
Tru - Sounds like you had a fantastic day at River Cottage, i am also very envious. Glad that you had such a great time.
Redruby - Good luck with the viewing.
Have a nice day peeps.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
Morning all.
Not as warm here today, but dry, so will get DDs to put the washing out. I have some ironing to do, otherwise we will end up with piles of it. I didn't sleep too well though, so will have to find some energy before tackling that.
Tomorrow, we are having an Italian themed day for a group of children, so I need to make up some pizza dough, and organise a few activities. It should be a good session.
Last night I recorded a film called Hope and Glory, about a boys experience during the war, so will settle down with DDs later to watch it. It looks good so hopefully we wont be disappointed.
DDs want to make lasagne later as well for dinner, so that's our day planned really.
Hope you all have a good day, whatever you're up toThere is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0 -
at least I've got the compost now to give them a good start!

Thanks hun and Sunnyday, the first ones have just gone, they were VERY impressed with my os ways, washing blowing on the line, and HM cakes on display, they also loved my garden and veggie growing
, and the fruit trees and bushes :T, I am now sitting in an imaculate house, waiting for the next ones at 11.15, cant do much, as I dont want to make a mess , I do hope one of them likes it enough to put in an offer.
bargainbird, I hope you all feel better soon xx0
