cut and paste, the combifix file opens in Notepad , use "Edit" at the top and then "select all". Then Select "Edit" again and choose "copy"

return here and "right click" you mouser and choose "paste" from the menu that comes up

you may need to split the log in 2 posts if its too big for one

Be aware that combofix is pretty powerful and should be used under supervision, don't be tempted to remove anything without having the logs looked at first!

combofix removes them automatically without intervention , them removal has been done , I just need to see what was deleted in case further removal tools are needed

536 problems found seems to be quite high, is it possible that some will be false positives?
  • It doesnt come up with any other page. The errors i have found are: -

    8 COM/Active entries
    2 uninstall entries
    17 shared DLLs
    4 Application paths
    2 windows startup items
    229 file/path references
    4 programm shortcuts
    271 empty registration keys

When i click the next button it tells me i need to pay to get them removed.
    thanks

If Malwarebytes has removed your initial problem then I would leave combofix untill Browntoa can advise you about it.

    Do you have CCleaner?

If not you can download it free from filehippo.com...............

    http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Make sure you download the latest version and when you first run your download tick/untick? any boxes asking if you want the "Yahoo Toolbar" ( or is it "Google Toolbar" , can't remember which?), you don't want to download the toolbars.
It is a handy little app that clears a lot of rubbish, ie cookies...
  • Thanks Fiddiwebb
am downloading now. This has turned into a flipping nightmare. Bank has been contacted now anyway and my card has been cancelled.
