For the 5th the train tickets could be bought tommorow following the 12 week rule for Sat/Sun return, only Sat available to buy for £9.50 from Durham and £19 from Manchester but the returns might me cheaper when they are released tomorrow.

Early bird and all that, the 5th is good for me and I love Christmas shopping in the big cities.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Evening all

Glad everyone seems in a positive mood tonight. Have had a busy busy day but the allotment is certainly a bit clearer (thanks to my mum who came to help me :) )

Bun so we up for Bath then?
Edinburgh is so magical at Christmas and they have ice rink in the gardens :)

Had a lovely long skype call with my friend in Australia today...I miss her :(

So shall we say the 5th then for those who want to get tickets organised then?
Maybe some nice kind person would be kind enough to start a new thread?

  • Oh dear...

Just been chatting with my cousin back home and she's in bits-her 16 year son has a heart condition that they have just found out about-it's that condition where you can just drop dead at anytime? They are putting him on beta blockers and may operate and he has to stop playing basketball-he's an amazing player and it will devastate him. My poor cousin is in bits. God, wish i lived back home now.

I think I shall you know, cos it wasn't remotely easy in terms of strength needed to do it but at least I get what she is aiming for and can do the easier version although not all the reps.

and I do think Jillian is fantastic.

    Sammy thank you so muchxxxx

Bun that is so sad...but thank god they found out about it before something awful may have happened. If he has the op will be be able to continue to play basketball? Maybe they are being over cautious to start with while they are dealing with the unknown.
