Have you further details on this one please?

I don't know if there are details online or if you can get an application form online [I just happened to get a letter this morning from The Times touting the offer]:

"To claim your wine... Collect 21 mastheads (showing different dates between Sept. 21st and Oct. 25th & return before Nov 2nd"

Edit: I just searched online for details of it, but can't find anything yet. Maybe it's only if you're on their postal mailing list, or maybe they'll put details/application form on their site/in the newspaper from the 21st on (just guessing)

    Thanks for the info.

Looks like I shall miss out on this one then as away for next 2 weeks. Missed the Ocado one because I was also on holiday during the collecting time.

Ah well, guess I prefer the holidays! Will just have to buy some extra wine to drink when away.
  • I spotted a Waitrose in Wilmslow earlier on my way to collect someone from Manchester airport. I asked at customer services about their coupon acceptance and was told
'10% of shop and the product must be stocked IN BRANCH'

That bit in capitals because she said it that way.

Has anyone been to Meir Park recently- any change?

    xx

    Evening All,

Just returned from the Mr. T's, where I had recently had a problem redeeming the £5 Lidl/Express voucher. Spent over £50 and offered my coupons including £5 Farmfoods voucher (thanks redagila :A) .

"That says Farmfoods", says checkout op
    "Yes it does" says I
"I can't take that" says she
    "Why not?" asks I
    "It says Farmfoods" says she
    "Tesco accepts them" says I

OP to next checkout op "Do we accept these, they say Farmfoods".
    "No" says she
"Can you check with superviser?" asks I, "I have spent over £50"

1st checkout op to superviser "Can we take these, it says Farmfoods?
    "I dont know" says she
"Yes you can" says I "I have spent over £50"
"oh, ok, put it through" says she!!!

    :j:j:j
  • honestly old ladies packing slowly would take up more time than that!!!!!

A couple of weeks ago I was behind a woman who checked her make up before paying. Got her compact our, put a bit of face powder here and there, put a little lippy on. Fiddled with her hair and then packed her make up bag away and decided to pay. The sa never said a word.

It must have taken her around 10 mins to sort herself out but no one moaned.

Why should waiting a couple of minutes for coupons to scan cause such a problem.

I have waited behind people who "forgot something", or ones where they have to try several credit cards before one goes through, or are slow to pack.

We are customers too, and don't moan at other peoples delays so I really don't care if someone has to wait a few minutes behind me.
