well, I had a VERY good MOC evening in my local store, even though the team leader did their usual of going through each MOC with a fine tooth comb.
my shopping came to £103, guess what I paid hehe? I used the £6.89 one too and she was fine with it, didn't even question it. I think it is a race against time til pedigree pull the plug on that one though personally.
I'll guess first, £83.250 -

Hi all,
I need some advice please.
Went to Mr T’s this evening and put all my shopping through fine when I gave the young SA my coupons she said “oh hang on a minute I’ve never done this before I will just call for help!” Ok I replied and another SA came over, “Oh” she went “you can’t use those anymore it’s the rules!!”
“Oh I replied! the rules have changed today have they?” and she said “ No not today this is the new rules we had this week! NO more coupons only 1 when you buy the product! I was totally speechless as she was getting a bit loud and I was embarrassed as other customers were waiting.
:o
I showed her that I had a copy of the Tesco’s national policy on coupons and she said “Well that is out of date now this is the new rules and she went and got a sheet of A4 paper and it did have writing on but she wouldn’t show it to me.
She looked at her piece of paper and said “Listen this says Only One coupon if you buy the product!”
I tried to explain that I have used coupons in the day a few times now and the staff has been lovely and they take my coupons and I was in Yesterday and used coupons without any problems.
But she was having none of it, I told her that Tesco’s head office in Dundee had verified my policy was correct, but she didn’t care.
I politely asked if there was anyway I could get a copy of her policy and she said No it’s not allowed!
“Ok” I said “could I please just read it then so I know what im talking about when I phone head office in the morning?” Again I was told “No you’re not allowed”, she was holding the piece of paper up against her chest so I couldn’t see anything.
I then asked her if she could please read it to me then? And again she said No I’m not allowed!?!?!
This seems a little fishy to me to be honest, I have not ever really had any problems before.:o
I said ok then and I would phone head office tomorrow to speak to someone.
I then went to pay for my shopping and the young SA said she could take my wine coupon and my rustler one as I bought the products and the other one then told her she could take 2 coupons for each of the products because I bought them! I’m confused now as she had earlier told me the new policy said she could only take one!
I paid for my shopping and was leaving the store as the other SA was walking back down to the front and she said the SA on the tills are being given warnings by the manager if they take coupons.
I politely told her that I was an honest coupon user following the policy and I had no intention of getting any of the SA’s in trouble.
And then I left.
What do you think?? I’m totally baffled now.Hello my name is nahteb20 and i am a T's Glitch & Bargainaholic.......0 -
