  • Not sure about the best product but the best thing to buff windows up is crunched up newspaper!

I think one of them oven cloths is good with windowlene. I know what you mean though because I hate streaks on my windows! Try hot water with a bit of vinegar.
  • Wurth Active glass cleaner. Get it off Ebay.

Cleans glass brilliantly and does not leave any streaks afterwards. You may have a Wurth trade counter near you where you may get it a bit cheaper.

Spray on, comes out as a foam leave for the fiz to work and then wipe off with Paper roll or Kitchen roll
We took on Mr T and we won:D

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now

    Siroflex SX Glass Cleaner.

Spray and wipe, no need to buff. I use an old used tea shirt my OH had put in the rag box but any lint free cloth will do.

Or if you want a more MSE way then white vinegar/water, 1 part vinegar : 4 parts water. I've only used this inside, I find the outsides usually need a bit of washing up liquid in warm water if they're quite mucky.
  • A couple of years ago I got a bottle of "Concentrated window cleaner" from B&Q. It's just a blue liquid in what looked like a more 'value' type (plain-ish) packaging (clear plastic bottle). It consists pretty much of detergent, alcohol & vinegar & was mixed 1 capfull to 5 litres. I must admit it got my windows pretty much spotless, especially when used with q squeegee.

It wasn't the cheapest item, but considering how it's diluted, I liked the results.

Unfortunately, as it's lasting me a while, I could not say if they still sell it.
  • Stardrops and a rub with a microfibre cloth is pretty good.
    somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's

When I worked in an Electrical/DIY/Picture frame shop we used Nilglass and it was great.
I used to buy it @ discount regularly and it worked!!!
