I'm new to this voucher lark. Can anyone tell me how you use vouchers at the self scan till - as there's no-one to give them to? Do you just scan a barcode then discard it or something? Does that not mean you could re-use it every time you shop until it expires? Also, do all the supermarkets accept vouchers at self scan - I usually only go to Tesco and Asda, so info on these two would do!

I use the self-scans at Tesco and Asda and with regards to the coupons/ vouchers when you are done scanning and hit the payment screen, scan the barcode of the coupon and then you post it in a little postbox type slot and it is as easy as that.

Please don't think about not posting the coupon or posting a bit of blank paper in the slot, the SA have acess to the machines and will open them up to check that you have put a voucher in there.
Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

I was fuming when a supervisor in Asda also told me a few months ago that they wouldn't accept my Purina internet voucher as it could have been copied!!. She said they don't accept any 'copies' of vouchers.... of which these definitely are NOT.
These coupons say they are 'retailer accepted' also 'coupons are unique and trackable - duplication will be detected' There is also details of a link on the voucher which says 'verify this unique coupon at www.safecoupons.co.uk'
Also, 'valid against exact product only' which I had done.
They have your name clearly printed on them, a unique barcode number and more to the point, you do not even see the voucher before printing it. (I realise it could be photocopied after it is printed though).
Last time I was refused one of these coupons I emailed Purina who sent me a non-internet voucher for my inconvenience.
I wonder why the heck companies issue these if many stores do not accept them.
For the record, Wilkinson stores accepted it as it scanned fine.
