T-mobile free texts for life offer on PAYG

Just went on the t-mobile website and they are saying if you top up £10 you will get free texts for life, what i don't understand is do you have to top up every month and i don't understand how it works.

Can anyone help me understand the deal

I was abit confused about this. There are offers on orange (and maybe other networks) that give free texts for topping up. If you've got to top-up every month it isn't as good as they are making it sound.

If you read the T&C for the offer its very clear what you need to do to get them.

The legal stuff you need to know

Successfully top-up £10 in a calendar month and we'll give you unlimited free texts to use during the next month. We'll send you a text to let you know you've earned the reward.
Providing you have stayed a member of the reward throughout the month we'll add your free texts to your account at one minute in the morning on the first day of the next month. You then have that whole month to use them in the UK. Use your free texts to text customers of any UK mobile network.
We'd like to remind you that your terms and conditions also say that you mustn't use our services to do anything unlawful or to send nuisance communications. At the moment, we'll decide that you're breaking this condition if you text more than 200 different numbers over the course of the month with your reward. To get unlimited texts (subject to fair use) from Orange would cost you £30 a month,and they dont guarantee your get them for life.

i applied for one of these sims last week, just arrived today. i personally think it sounds a good deal. im tmobile anyway... i use there text appeal plan normally for the 3p texts and i already spend about 10 a month so i figured i'd try this out.
