Anyway, partner has agreed it's a good idea. So went rakeing in the loft and OH finds the shoe box with all my old bedroom wall posters. Depeche Mode, Kajagoogoo, Adam Ant, Spandeau Ballet (aww those were the days).
Clutter hunt immediately put on hold cos I got all nostalgic and reminiscent looking through them, lol.
Not very MSE, but who did you have on you bedroom wall.........??
Debs x
Blimey yes i had Kajagoogoo, and frankie goes to hollywood, until my mum found out some of them were gay and ripped them down....

These days I have pictures of Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), Rammstein, Jude Law and an original drawing of Eric Draven (the Crow) by James O'Barr. That's in my study, though - in our late-fifties, I don't think I can inflict them on DH in the bedroom...
My Aunty Maud (who was 96 when she died about 5 years back) had her living room walls plastered with pictures of Elvis, Tom Jones and Englebert Humperdinck.0 -
Are you sure it was Jimmy you met and not my flat mate? :rotfl:
The Milton Keynes Bowl...now you are talking! We went off for a "Reading come Glasonbury" equivalent where we decided to camp for the night before a concert with a load of other Communards/Erasure fans in a field just outside of MK...those were the days! No fields near MK now...!:D
Am now looking for my vinyl records...so well preserved and still love their stuff...might be worth few bob but won't sell because of the memories associated with them.
