Take that, especially Mark Owen! I liked them at first (in their 'only takes a minute girl' stage!) but then went off them. Apart from that (i think my rebellion from my punk parents ) I didn't like boy bands, I was more into indie, brit pop, and weird stuff (for a 10/ 11 year old) like inspiral carpets, and levellers! My friends weren't convinced on my music taste until I was much older.

Runrig posters everywhere....still have them all!! in fact I'm such a geek I have doubles!!...and my mum got some one in to paint cartoon characters on my wall too......I had donald duck and olive from popeye!!!lol

Nothing has changed...I still stalk, I mean follow the boys and I love disney!...I need to grow up!!!haha!! xx

oh just remembered santa brought me 2 WHAM pictures...they were cool!!!!lol Think my sister got a real pony that year....I got robbed!!!haha! x

I too lived for smash hits, especially the lyrics pages- reading the lyrics whilst taping some of the charts on a casette to sing back to .

I secretly wanted to be in roxette :cool:

Wendy James was in Transvision Vamp, they were cool. She also did a turn in Lil Louis "French Kiss" where she had an "orgasm" in the middle of the song.

I then swapped to Take That, especially Robbie Williams... I was so jealous that my sister had the page from the smash hits with the words to million love songs stuck to her wall...

Then I turned 13 and discovered Metallica

I had TYRANOSUARUS REX on mine, yes even before they were known as T-REX. (did I spell that right) and slade, or to be more precise Noddy Holder.

just read through the posts again. I used to buy a mag called "The Record song book" It had the the words to all the most recent "RECORDS" out. lol
