    Hi, not posted on here for ages, so here goes:-

    Chicken chow mein http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/chickenchowmein_89258.shtml
    M&S lime chicken & jacket potato, baked tomatoes
    Soup and a sandwich
    M&S Turkey joint with roast veg, cabbage
    Chicken in either Piri Piri sauce or Jerk sauce or http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/9582/honey-mustard-chicken-pot-with-parsnips and spicy wedges
    Cooked breakfast (sausage, bacon, tomatoes, egg)
    HM chilli and pasta
    HM lamb stew (from freezer) and mash

    Sure :D Sorry for delay in replying.

    The isnt really a recipes for the pesto chicken burgers. Just get some chicken breast and cut them in half so they make a thin burger and then spread some pesto of you choice, I like basil, over the pieces of chicken. Griddle them and then serve as you would serve a normal burger....quick, easy and tasty.

    Here is the recipe for the chicken one pot http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/9582/honey-mustard-chicken-pot-with-parsnips I cannot claim it as my own.....it is so delicious, we have been having it once a week recently! This week I don't hav enough parsnips so I am going to use some leftover carrots too!

    Thank you :) I've never had pesto, so this seems like a nice simple way of trying it. I might try the second one in my slow cooker.

  • this is my first posting on meal plans have been doing it for some time now after inspiration from everyone on here

    it certainly makes my life easier used to hate thinking on the day "what to do for tea " then spending a fortune in supermarkets through my poor planning .

    i try and do a monthly meal plan , days off i cook bulk to freeze ahead so kids have
    something homecooked after school when i am working

    this weeks plan is

    Monday mince dumplings and veg from garden (evenings getting cooler up here )

    tues sausage baked bean and pasta thingy (make large quantity in slow cooker )

    weds lamb curry rice and h/m naan (already prepared so need taking out to defrost

    thurs H.m pizza and wedges (double up on doh in bread maker

    friday carribean chicken (again this has been made in advance recipe off slow cooker thread

    sat quiche jacket potatoes ( shall make extra pastry for pies etc

    sunday beef goulash ( shall make a big batch to freeze for another day)

    have also planned to make large sticky toffee pud again so i can freeze in portions for a tasy warming pud

    forgot to defrost the chicken again for yesterdays dinner so its being cooked today. had sausages and salad last night instead. so this week its....drumroll...rubber chicken

    monday - roast chicken salad
    tuesday - chicken fajitas and salad
    wednesday - leftover chicken pasta bake
    thursday - leftover chicken and sweetcorn pie
    friday - leftover leftover chicken and sweetcorn pie
    saturday - jacket potatoes and salad
    sunday - hm spag bol from freezer and macaroni cheese for ds

    treats - hm chocolate brownies
