Yup, it was busy, but I felt okay, and still do - and I've found the electrical thingy! At a wholesale type place near a little industrial estate - it was two males that I needed :D who knew it was so difficult to get them together :D I popped in to some builders merchants checking insulation, partly for me, partly for my website, partly cos I didn't want to come home and start work :p - it was very odd, actually, so many of the men look at you like you're an alien - not an alien as in foreign national, but alien from Planet Tattooine.

I'm back, I'm warm, I've eaten, I don't have to make any phone calls - admittedly, I need to do some sewing, but thats fine :j

KC, I know that you said that one of the things you want to do next year is a bit of travelling. Have you seen this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2840516 on the grabbit board. It looks like really good value.

As someone who has spent the last 5 years working in just that sort of environment I know exactly how you must have felt. I have my own safety gear! Boots, hard hat and reflective vest - I look an absolute dream :rotfl:But they are incredibly territorial places.

You must look great! I didn't get discombobulated by it, it was just really obvious - in fact, I'll put it in my blog at some stage, when I start it up in the new year.
