Tee hee.... :)

I've just been back through the last ten pages or so (narcissistic, moi?) to make sure I have all the green notes, and to summarise my new-diary thingummy. And there are two things saying, don't start it yet - being ill, and still fiddling about finishing off some older-type mse stuff:

pigsback: 2698 points of 3000 needed for £10 voucher.
toluna: 78969 points of 80000 needed for £15 voucher.
yougov: 3380 of 5000 needed for £50 cheque.
lightspeed: £23 in there right now, I'm trying to link it to my paypal account.

:eek::eek::eek:

I refuse to let this stuff go! The per hour rate is pathetic, of course, but if I don't get to payout then its *absolutely* zero, and I won't do it. Plus, believe it or not, this stuff is almost £100, which can go towards Christmas.

As for my health: well, the measures I'm instituting are long term, so a new diary is neither here nor there.

And contrary to what I posted on MG's thread about my nonexistent 100 day challenge, I made my own 100 day challenge on here, on the 18th of this month :o But of the four goals, three are certainly within the 50 day challenge from 1st November to 20th December that MG floated yesterday:

- make this house liveable - building work finished, new flooring down.
- spiritual practice incorporated into everyday life.
- new office set up to run trading business - the second income stream.
- draft layout of green website complete - the third income stream.

I'll drop the green website plan before Christmas, especially with not being well, but the others seem do-able by Christmas.

An excellent afternoon's work there KC, well done you! :T

£100 towards Christmas would be very nice, wouldn't it?? I really must check mine. I'm up to something daft like £12 on onepoll (payout is £40) - but again, seems daft to lose what you have done! Lightspeed is different, I've been claiming it when I've got to £5, so not much to lose really, although it is quite lucrative, but the surveys really annoy me :rotfl:

Your goals look really doable in 50 days, and very sensible to drop the last one - it can wait til you're properly back on your feet and feeling better! :T

that's quite a lot you've got near payout...and like you say a nice amount for christmas.

good luck with the 50 day challenge....don't know what's been happening on MGs thread as it stresses me out to try and keep up and that's no good for my health so have had to stop reading.

hope you get your energy back soon and I agree that there's probably as much preservatives in veg food and you maybe even take in more pesticides if you are not eating organic fruit/veg especially if you eat a lot of fruit and veg

thanks Taxi! I think you're very wise not to follow MG's thread right now - you've kept up with people you know, like coming on here, you've got your own family and friends, thats enough. Your priority is obvious, your recovery and your health.

that is how I have to look at things at the moment and not be too hard on myself.
I also have days I can't keep up with anyone on here but thankfully not often

I read on the matrix that somebody started their day - was it DT? - by reading some of The Secret each morning. After what I've been wittering about in relation to spiritual practice, I used Rhonda's second book, The Power, and let it fall open where it would. On Gratitude. And I've plenty to be grateful about, I often think about it, but I made a special time after reading that, and it was lovely.

I have read the secret twice and the power once as a result and it is making a difference I try to get 20 mins after I have read it just thinking about what I have read and trying to put it into practice

I don't know, tbh! I've been veggie for over 20 years, but I *think* there can be just as many additives in food that doesn't contain any animal derivatives as food that does.

One of the things that hit home to me when looking at the supermarket shop online is how much processed food was on the list, and you're right, there is a lot of additives in food generally. Scarily enough I've just looked at a pre-packed stir fry veg mix and am wondering why it contains fat(?)
