Well done on the bingo win...you are doing well.I agree on the boring bit too.
The mystery shops sounded quite promising.
Glad you thought about the excess on the insurance..just didn't want you to lose out.0 -

I'll always do what I can to make my life work!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well, what a funny old day yesterday. I did nothing, really had to take a day off - the most I managed was scratches, free bingo, and a walk round the block.
Today, I have to get my act together, and this is the list:
- [strike]scratches[/strike]
- [strike]check banking[/strike] some of it
- [strike]three emails[/strike]
- free bingo doing
- clean sofa (friend is coming down over the weekend, I *must* get rid of some of the dust.
- text builder who never showed up about the immersion heater
- phone structural engineering people if the engineer doesn't contact me by lunch.
- [strike]mend or throw out my nice big stapler! Decluttering is alive and well[/strike] hurray, its mended.
- clean the hallway, loo and therapy room ready for work this afternoon.
- [strike]wash my hair, aargh, its disgusting. [/strike]
- do the washing up!
- [strike]sort out free bingo money from emails as well as bank account - I'm getting confused.[/strike]
- clean my jeans, I threw chocolate sauce all over them on Saturday.
- any spare time, do my accounts.
Thats the nice part about waiting to write out your list
I've also been on the phone for half an hour, giving an assertive lesson to my mum - the difference between "do you want me to" "I'd like to" "I want to" and "You must". She's in a difficult situation right now, and it seemed like it helped her get her head clear.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
That's a good long list and gets rid of a fair few jobs when all are done.A list is a good idea because it feels good crossing them off.Glad to hear that your 2nd bedroom is feeling more like a bedroom.Seems all these bits and bobs we are doing are paying off.
Have a good day xx0 -
:rotfl: You're one to talk, after what you did yesterday! There's a couple of things I need to post off that aren't urgent and won't get done today - there's also 3 hours of paid work, and another long family phone call this evening, but that will all *have* to get done - the list is the ideal of what I'd *also* like to do.
So - off to wash my hair, now that I haven't won at free bingo :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Another thing you can cross off..lol...
I need to get my !!! into gear and get some jobs done as well....think I'll write me a list first0 -

Still doing the free bingo, and now I've made contact with the structural engineer - he's made an appointment for next Monday. I'm *trusting* nothing's going to fall down before then. I *must* clean my jeans next, I'm working in about 90 mins:o:o

Hi Karma, not often I get the chance to talk to a chocolate covered !!!!!!:D
Dont forget that builders need work, and are more than 'understanding' when it comes to the 'excess' element when doing a quote.
I used to spend hours walking round the fields checking, re-setting and moving mole traps with my Dad when I were a lad! ( Cue Hovis music!)
If you want to get rid, you can get traps or a 'sonic sounder' thingy.
I've just stuffed a custard danish pastry ( and an apricot one:o)...pig!:D stay wonky
:D
....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !0
