Hiya! Isn't it strange? There are a couple of things that tick me off - I'm still freaked about meeting biiiiiig spiders, especially at night .... I do hate having no curtains on the porch windows so that I can be seen on the stairs and in the living room (both of which I go through to get to the loo, from my bedroom) and I'm beginning to get a serious strop on about the daddy long legses here - my other place, there were very efficient crows that paraded up and down the grass verges every day eating the eggs, so we hardly had any. Doesn't look like the birds in HH have heard of that one

And yep, thats the worst I can dig up about this house:rotfl: its not bad, is it! By Christmas, it will be beautiful, it really will. And I only managed to move here because of the support I had from mse and the lovely people who come onto my diary. So thank you, thank you, thank you, a million times.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Nice to revisit a Diary and read such positive stuff. Sounds great Karma.
Beds are so important. Bought myself and Mrs P a pair of electrically adjustable beds with memory foam matresses for our 25th Anniversary.....heaven! Of course I bought them when I thought I had money:rotfl:.....so it works out that they are interest free loans:rotfl:courtesy of my dmp:D

Pepe! How are you? I lurve the sound of your beds ..... its the kind of thing that visiting toddlers can play with! I remember when we got a stairlift for my dad, all the little kids in the family were up and down on it - including some very big kids

Thanks for posting, and seeing the positivity :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
KC - you knew you could do it, you just needed a bit of prodding by us all x0
-
Yep! I needed lots of prodding :rotfl: still do :rotfl: I finally got myself together, by the way, to eat something and pay attention to the dishwasher - I know it looks ridiculous to rinse stuff before you put it in, but some of its been sitting there two days  and rinsing takes a lot less time than washing up anyway

My bedroom almost looks like a real bedroom

Morning,
spiders etc. don't actually bother me, DS freaks out if he sees one. There is one currenty living in the corner of the bath, so long as it doesn't move all its family in, it'll be fine.
Never really thought about what encourages them though.
EDIT: just realised that sounds as if we don't use the bath, we don't, we can't get enough hot water for a bath, only use the shower.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
