Tonight is for chillin! I finished 3 minutes ago :rotfl:I wish tonight *had* been for chillin :T

But it did all mean that I got an absolute mega amount done today, its true. Yet another cup of (really weak) tea coming up, and then I have to do something other than work before I go to bed - its a DVD of Firefly, beloved outer space opera of Joss Whedon, the Buffy and Angel creator.....

Wol, you sound like you're doing good, is that right? See you soon, sweets.

Hope the roads weren't too bad for London today, and the car has air conditioning x

The roads were good, actually - no aircon in the car tho :( the heater is stuck on :( he only turns the fan off because I've said I'll go by rail if he doesn't. We have the windows and the roof open - its okay on the way back, but its hell on earth going up to London, the sun is directly on me, no way round that.

Thanks Taxi! The morning was, but the trip was so, so busy. I had to go to the bank, and then solid work from 4pm till 9pm. Luckily, I found a fan so I could keep away the nausea. I shouldn't grumble (but I'm going to :D) because days like this give me 40% of my income, but its really tough, and getting tougher each year I do it.

Firefly! You never caught Firefly  Only 13 episodes were made, and when the studio execs realised what a hit it was, Joss Whedon finally got to make a feature film :D it was called Serenity, it did well at the box office too, took about £70million - its on satellite channels occasionally, Bob. Hope you're well - you sound it, mooching about it here and there.

Right, I feel like I'm up and kicking, at least (tho I haven't got fully washed and dressed yet, oops. Dont care :D). I've been puttering about on here, rearranged my sig - the rate of interest I pay in France has gone down by 0.05%, it changes every 3 months, and so far its been to my favour. I'm paying off just under £550 a month

I've joined the July £10 a day challenge officially, too, some Asda vouchers I got yesterday from maxmiles and a loaf of bread I was given at the offlicence make up the total there.

Today is definitely just more puttering - tidying up by lunchtime, so I have 24 hours where the house is tidy and pleasant to be in. I've already started in the living room, kitchen and 2nd bedroom. The most I'm going to do dfw-wise is take pix for my big items to be sold on gumtree/local paper/free listing ebay day.

Thats it really - two days like Thursday and Friday were, and I'm completely wiped. Oh, I know - do some playing on the computer for the blog. Since the first work I want done is to get the second loo installed, I'll do some web research about eco-friendly systems. If anyone has any good links, give me a shout

Sorry you've got that too Taxi - its so important. One year, I used to sit with my feet in a bowl of cold water :) and I have ice packs in the fridge from a freebie tasting that I'm going to put in the bedroom tonight, they'll give off a bit of cold air.

    Thanks Taxi!

I've had a fine old time this afternoon keeping inside and shaded and *quiet*, playing with a blog post and doing some research... has anybody ever heard of The Water Regulations Advisory Scheme? Or https://www.water-efficiencylabel.org.uk? I have:D now, anyway :rotfl:I'm off to sit outside for a bit, now it *may* have cooled a tad.
