Morning Shaun!!!
I'll look forward to those downloads, I *want* them
I'll be off to your thread in a mo to find out how you are....
Well, I inputted the supermarket mystery shop last night, and tho its one I've done before, I'll be lucky to get the money, tbh, there was a little bit I forgot at the end, and I kind of ... winged it. Oops. It was a long day yesterday, but I feel kind of virtuous for having managed it all:o:o
Today I have *no* paid work, one session is just delayed till next week, but thats now in doubt, cos I have to go to a funeral (my dad's second cousin) on Monday. So, I'm going to see an Open House, in the Open House weekend (a new development of apartments, spiffied up with lots of eco installations) and I have a retail mystery shop of a type I've never done before. And I'll do the banking, and have a wander round the shops before I come back.
More later!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
hey kc so finally the diary is up and running ...it was a few weeks ago we chatted about it ...i was thinking of reminding you but thought you might say "shut the f**k up elantan ...i'll do it in my time":rotfl::rotfl:0

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Nooooo! Its like DT said, nagging works! I was ready, honestly, it was just my normal procrastination
Tho I must say, writing out a long list every day or couple of days, rather than the notes in my diary, is working wonders. Maybe its just that I have a temporary record of what I'm doing, but I don't think sowhen I think "right, what next", I can go to today's list and take my pick
:D:o:D
Off to your diary, El....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning Karma - lists are good! As long as you don't leave all the worst things to the end

more property !!!!!! can you post a link I would really like a modern contemporary eco house but all the ones i have seen have been soooooooo expensive so I think I will have to stick with my very energy inefficient one its nice but I must be having a housing crisis after living in old houses all my life I would like a brand new minimalist one

Am on the phone so apologies inadvance .... I find the same thing with lists it is good to see the list going down and ticking or drawing a line through the list is ( I am trying to think of something not pornish but not managing) thrilling .. Then with e new list it's like a whole new game lol0

I've just got back from a mystery shop that required me to do a test drive! Fun but terrifying, especially on the steep hills around here. I do have a tiny little bit of resentment that they safeguard themselves by taking a penny from your debit card, and then don't give it back..... its the little things that get me, very often.
However, tho they will get a rollocking for it, life is too short, and I was buzzing from this:
http://www.blogs-winkworth.com/2009/07/new-brighton-eco-friendly-apartments-save-154-tonnes-of-co2-emissions-each-year/
The developer's wife, the head engineer and the liaison from Stiebel Eltron were all there, and they all chatted to me for ages. They've got:
- rainwater harvesting, for the grounds, the sprinkler system and the toilets.
- a geothermal heatpump
- passive solar heating
- energy efficient formwork (um, I saw it, I just don't know how to describe it)
- green roofs on the garages.
- charging points for electric cars.
I absolutely loved it, I really did, I came back bouncing around all over the place.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
