No, I've been looking at properties online, but not gone to see anything yet. I've booked in to an open day on Saturday, but I *really* don't like the sound of the estate agents, they wouldn't make the appointment at first, much more interested in getting the commission to sell my house. And after they rang me back, and I had to deal with it a 2nd time, I gave them that feedback. I don't think they like me :D:D:D

I have a few days off next week, so I'm going to see a few others. One of them is this one http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-14708682.html which is very keenly priced because its at the side of an unattractive road - I'm not kidding! But the house I'm looking at is opposite a recreation ground and children's playground. There may be a problem with the internal layout, so I'm not holding my breath, but its definitely worth a look.

Z, thank you! This got me onto a little youtube binge - all the protest songs of my teens! And an interview with Joan Baez at the Emmys in 2007, believe it or not.

I think this song may be why the two houses I've bought have both been a little ... unusually ... shaped :D:o

EDIT - Joan Baez is touring right now!!!! In Europe!!!!! Last date is this Sunday in Braunschweig :(

More in 2010, in the US. Okay, I simply have to win the premium bonds.

EDIT - and she toured in the UK 2 years ago. Very near to me, at one stage..........oh dear :(

There are no smileys to express the windiness and nook-ness (not nookie, wash your ears out :rotfl:) of the houses I have owned.....

    Windiness? Your house farts?

Nook-ness? Full of little places where little things can be put at every available opportunity? Sounds like nookiness to me... :D

I was making the words up, and they're kind of ambiguous :D:o you've got me at it.

Not windy - **windy** as in "long and winding road".....

Nookiness - I have no defence, I like nookie :D:D:D
