It's been raining here today as well.Good luck with the cleaning.0
-
I was lucky with the weather, it stayed good enough - tho I've just had a peek out, and everything's wet - must have been when I was reading some diaries
So, the cleaning:
- the sink is all sparkly now - well, near enough for *my* sink
- bath is cleaned and dried.
- the path to the back is *completely* cleared of obstacles, and swept as well
You'd have laughed if you'd seen me tho - when I picked up one of those big plaster block things to put in the skip, there was a millipede underneath it - I didn't want it to go into a little hole in the mortar (okay, a socking great big hole) and I didn't want to kill it, so I was racing about with a twig to pick it up and a disposable beaker to put it inLuckily for it, I nabbed it, and its now residing happily (presumably) in the front garden.
EDIT- oops. I haven't written to Northern Rock2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well done on what you've got done.
Great that you've done the letter.0 -
:o:o Noooo, Taxi ... I haven't done it .....

I'm a **bad** person:D:D

Tum-ti-tum. Still haven't done it.
Done a fair bit else tho - a fair bit of paid work, some travel insurance research for my mum (going to the French house with my sister - travel insurance is a real problem once you reach 80!). Now I'm wined and dined, I have to decide which of the cleaning-for-the-estate-agent jobs to do - the bathroom tiles, sweeping the patio, or the ventilator in the porch (which is disgusting).2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
No letter..naughty girl..LOL
What jobs did you end doing?0 -
sob
... I'm such a bad person
:D:D
I swept the patio - dead leaves, old bricks I was going to use for the shaded patio in the middle of the garden, old flowerpots, that sort of thing. I was also clearing potplants of dead leaves and stuff - again, its little jobs that I can do in the house once its dark, no way can I do the big stuff like painting or anything. Its looking better.
Today, that cleaning-for-the-estate-agent job has to be the bathroom tiles. And keeping clean the things that *are* clean
Oh, and I've already been working through Martin's email today - I've registered for 2012 tickets (I'm nothing if not optimistic!) might well book a National Express £1 fare for next week, as I have a few days off - but I need to keep Easter itself flexible at the moment.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Mm tiles, what a lovely job! Ta for the reminder about Martin's email - off to see what's happening this week...Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
