Excellent - I have a couple of Cineworld tickets sitting by, from Tesco's - I had to use the vouchers or lose them, but they were the equivalent of £3 each, so these are great. Did Mr Squizz register too?

Hi Kc hope youre feeling good at the mo. The family tree stuff just included a visit to wexford library to try and find the street where my gt grandmother was born, this had changed name and was now some council houses but the church was there and was much bigger than I expected so it was nice to go in and see where she would have been baptised and made her communion. Nice to walk around the town etc so didnt actually find any new info but it still made for a lovely weekend.
Lovely day here today, hope its fine with you too.

Hiya - yes, I'm good thanks, and its lovely here - I just had my 2nd cup of coffeee, and I took it outside to drink on the step - its such a quiet road, I can do that without looking like Ena Sharples :D

Glad you had a good genealogy go - when I first started, I used to just collect births marriages and deaths, but since I've connected with all my Connor cousins, I do much more in the way of learning about their everyday lives - the area they lived in, buildings still standing (my great grandmother's house became a pile of rubble in the blitz, oops - but there are some staggering photos of the damage) all of that. I'm dying to get to Ireland and do some work there :T

It all sounds so interesting especially the bits about where they lived and old photos.
    Hope you've had a good day x
We don't have a cineworld here or else that would have been a great offer.

Hi Taxi! Yes, its fascinating, really - the different lives they lived - and once photos come along, to see the similarities in our faces.

I've been doing pretty good on the decluttering today - lots of scanning, going through the hotspot in my living room of papers and whatnot, and going through my accounts paperwork - I'm taking a leaf out of your book, Taxi, and making sure I can keep as up to date as possible.

Just watching Miss Marple now :)

If I take a leaf out of your book, and you take a leaf out of mine, we won't know whose book is whose! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We share and share alike on here, so its all good anyway :kisses3:

I've got a long list of things to do today - including going to fetch my accounts. I'll use the buses then to get hold of the reduced rate No 7 goods I can use as a present, and also to use an Asda voucher I discovered recently to get some of their pesto - its nearly as good as Waitrose's, but a pound cheaper! :T

I've just been doing the paperwork for a phone mystery shop this evening - I rather wish I'd never taken it on, its *so* complicated, and not as well paying as I thought it would be. Still, its all money, and while I'm not getting back into matched betting, that sort of thing will have to do.

Sold a book on Amazon as well - pretty good price, and its another one of those I bought in the early 1970s and never looked at since. It looks a bit grotty, truth to tell, but I did list it as acceptable, and say that the spine was broken (I just did that, checking the text!).
