Somewhere on this site, I've had a conversation about the lack of yougov surveys. I just had one in my inbox, and had a few minutes, so I did it, and thought I'd check to see if it had been credited. It had, and whats more, there were *four* other surveys, with immediate points available, sitting in my list on there. It might well be worth checking for people - I'm now almost 40% of the way to my next cheque. Heaven knows its not quick, but its comfortable.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Hope you had a nice time, Fay, been wondering how you're doing - your thread hasn't been there to click on on my User CP .... I forgot you were away
:o:o
You deleted me or lost me or something- no worries I do have a thick skin!:rotfl:and cling on hard. Got to a snow drop garden when away which was a nice bit of 'heart and soul' time.
The geneology stuff sounds amazing half my family is from Ireland - never really dug around much into it.
Yougov is something I often think OK must do another one, and then forget as they go down my inbox - so well done you....Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
Total debt as of 28/4/19 £7867.38:eek:
minus 112.06 = £7755.32:money:

Hi Taxi - yes it has - I've just been on your thread (funny how often we do that
) This is the dfw list of my trip out this afternoon:
- normal bus ticket: £3.60 for all buses for one day; price I paid, from a post office, £3.20.
- claimed against business expenses legitimately - I went to collect my accounts paperwork from English accountant.
- posted off Amazon sale - a book I bought in the early seventies new, for 50p, I've just sold for £3 or soit is a bit grotty, but I did mark it Acceptable only.
- went to local Boots, and collected No 7 goodies originally priced at £7.50, but bought with £5 voucher.
- went to the bank (that was a bit boring, nothing dfw there)
- went to Superdrug - bought 12 x 1st class stamps, with the 5% discount.
- went to Asda, bought *eight* of those pesto jars that are a pound cheaper than in Waitrose - saving of £8! Plus teabags and a Mother's Day card. And half a dozen hot cross buns, for a whole 50p.:D:D
I did somewhat ruin the effect of that lot by cancelling a mystery shop tonight - it would just have needed too much brain power, and I hadn't thought it out properly, doing that kind of thing after whats actually been a long afternoon out for me, in all this cold. I don't care, tbh, but I wish I'd cancelled earlier, because I spent ages trying to understand the instructions, and printing out the questionnaire and whatnot. Hey ho, we live and learn. Its a small, small thing, and I'm chuffed to bits about what I managed to accomplish outside of the house2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Yep, I really don't get out enough - with working at home, and living in the suburbs, its a bit of a nightmare.Still. Off for another cup of tea (didn't take any water with me, that was a mistake) and going to watch the thing about John Lewis on iplayer. Hope you can sleep well, Taxi.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
