Thanks Taxi! Its all done now except for inputting the mystery shop - got to say, the most important thing to me (apart from megabucks of free groceries ) is that I've discovered a pesto I really like thats £1 cheaper than Waitrose! Hurray! To celebrate I'm going to wander about on the boards for a bit.

Yayy to free shopping and a pesto you like.
Talking of pesto..I have 2 jars in my fridge ...what do I do with it?..I've never had it before so no idea.I have a tomato one and a green one!!!

I just steam potatoes or boil pasta, along with a frozen veg like peas or broccoli; then I mix chopped feta and pesto, and throw it over the pasta/veg. I don't *cook* very much as such - I just heat stuff up

Do I warm the pesto then or just stir it into pasta/potatoes?

I'm lazy - I'd just stir it in and serve straight away - you don't use that much, I use loads and loads, and even for me one of those glass jars does three goes. I'm a bit naughty like that

Pesto is blooming yummy on cheese in a crusty bagette (good way to pep up (and use up ) tasteless cheese - just spread it on semi sparingly or its a bit too oily). Adding a slice or 2 of tomato makes it like a posh shop lunch. :drool:

Another fav is spread tomato based topping (whatever you use) on a pizza dough (or bought base I guess?) then add a few small splodges of pesto and top with a small amount of cheese then cook. :drool:

Ohhhhh I'd never thought of having it with potatoes... yummy!

Lovely. I only use it on tatties because they're my normal substitute for normal pasta - I have gluten free pasta, but its expensive.

Morning all! Right, what shape does today have? Virgin has been down for maintenance for a while, so not done the scratchies. I'm decluttering and what not since Wol will be here briefly this lunchtime, before we pop out for a little walk - I'm working at 2pm, unfortunately, so can't do too much.

- couple of phone calls to make
- need to print out two mystery shop assignments.
- umm.... second bedroom isn't looking too bad, just a bit of tweaking now. So I need to start focussing on:
**the bathroom, which is disgusting :eek::eek::eek: and
** sweeping the patio and the stairs :eek::eek::eek:

Oh my word, I think I want to be sick :rotfl:
