Oh, I've just seen Michael Foot has died....I've had to switch the tv over straight away tho - I can't bear to hear *any* modern politicians talking about him. He was a bit mad, old Michael, but he could be trusted absolutely. A sad day.

It was a sound choice to switch over KC - watching the expressions on the faces of Gordon brown and Harriet Harman was enough to make one want to reach for that bucket Hypno had earlier!

They are all like that. God knows how bad it is going to be when Mrs T kicks the aforementioned bucket...

    Good to know, EH, thanks!

Z - oh my word, you're right. Especially with all this stuff about Tony and Gordon inviting her to Downing Street. Maybe I'll just cash in my tv licence, or whatever you do to it....

    night night all

[QUOTE=Karmacat;30474251 I realised quite how many dirty dishes I had :o and I couldn't ask Wol in for a cup of tea with it looking like that, so that was the priority, that and the paperwork.

See you later - nausea notwithstanding :rotfl:[/QUOTE]

Tsk tsk.KC....I do appreciate it, but there really is no need to tidy up on my account ;). -after all, I come to see you not your house :D.....(well I have to confess I was also dying to see the new retaining wall :o)..and I would have been glad to help with the dishes..

(I do know what you mean though - I remember the first time a certain monkey came to stay, I got a right telling off for being up at 2am the night before "tidying" :rotfl::rotfl:)

Good to see you yesterday.(and your retaining wall is lovely - makes such a difference especially in view of your plans to sell) .and pleased to hear you are at least keeping your head above water on the energy levels front :T .

I am scheduled to be back down your way next thursday approx same time. I know how frustrating it can be when you don;t have the energy to press on with your plans :grouphug:, so maybe I can help with something that might have been bugging you that you can't do right now but that will lift your spirits if it's done methinks?
Even if it's just taking some rubbish to the dump..or whatever....just let me know ;)

Hugs to you Hun - keep taking those little steps and I'm sure you will get back to full health soon

Hi Wol! You know what I mean about the washing up, I know - I "use" people's visits as a spur to get the place how I want it for me.... thats all, really. But that sounds quite boring :D

I'll have a serious think about Thursday, I'm deffo around and no sessions booked in as yet - I sometimes have one on Thur around midday, but nothing yet.

Glad you like the wall :D doesn't it make a difference to the front of the house! I have a huge list of stuff I'd *like* to do (mostly cleaning :o:o:o) before I get the estate agent in - I'm going to prioritise that, and try to get things going by the end of next week. It would be good to check out the state of the house (presentation wise) with you before I do that. One thing I'm thinking of, in terms of presentation, is simply moving my bed to another wall, it would be better for a couple :o - that sort of thing.

I just popped on to put on here a house I've just been ogling on rightmove http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-14781096.html

Its achievable if I bargain them down a bit, and my income doesn't deteriorate any further. Its absolutely one where I can say "ooh, thats nice". I'm not quite sure about distance to the station, but its one of the best I've seen.

Its really good, isn't it... not the usual box, but not loads of space wasted on the halls - thats the downfall of this house and my last one.
