Thanks taxi! He's a good bloke, and its loads of stuff - a hard drive, a VDU, a scanner, a VCR, a DVD player, lots of wires and dead calculators, a toaster, a coffee grinder, old batteries, all sorts of things. And as I say, I won't be unloading it at the tip because I'll be off in Middlesex at this funeral.
Which is also why I won't be on here tomorrow.
At the moment, I've still got the free bingo running in the background, but I think I've missed the game, bother it all. Still, mustn't grumble (a la Monty Python....)
Hope everyone has a good Monday - take care all.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Hi folks! Thanks for the good wishes.... the funeral was yesterday, and it went fine - thats a very non-emotional part of the family! And he was a very elderly man, and had a good long life. Tiring, as it was 3 hours there and 3 hours back, but it has to be done, of course. I had some work in the evening, and now .... I've come back with a cold  I'm going to try and keep working through, so won't be on today much, will be lying down whenever I get the chance. Ah well - more fish in the sea, blah blah blah

Hi DT!
Thanks .... I've got a gap between 2 sets of work I'm trying to do, so I might well have a proper lie down then .... sorry to hear you're on your own with lots of man-colds, tho. Hope it all improves soon.
