Reminds me of a very old auntie, who for that last 20 years at every family wedding has told me 'you'll be next!'.
When I was 6 one of my cousins got married. My Auntie says she told me I would be her next niece to get married and could she come to my wedding. Apparently I replied, "If you're not dead."

Went to Lidl - Spent £19 and no black beans. I have everything else, but no black beans, what could I use instead? It's a mexican dish. I have berlotti?!
I'd just use any old beans if I didn't have the right ones. (But then I tend to be a little ad hoc with recipes.)

Sorry you're having such a bad day - hope it improves.

Okay well I think I have kidney and berlotti, I also have bacon in the fridge that needs used, maybe I'll grill that and stick it on the top so OH doesn't realise I've fed him beans, that aren't baked.

I feel better now anyways, I'll hoover before I go back out to pick up Keira, my mum and sister are popping down in an hour or so too, that'll be nice. Haven't seen Ellie in a few weeks, mind you my fridge will be emptied, swear that child has worms!

Sami, Sure you can use the same one... I'm planning on using the same outfit when Caitlyn's done if it fits her... Although Aimee was done at 5 months and Caitlyn will be closer to a year, I think it will probably still fit...
    Aimeechristening.jpg
is that Aimee? (looks a bit like her but I'm not 100% sure)
very swish dress! we had the choice of 2 gowns, one VERY old one from OH's family that was tiny (don't think it would have even fit Chris if we'd done him at 1week!) the other was my sis n mine (made from mum's wedding dress) but again too small, so we went modern/trendy

But you didn't have to stop because of choosing to get pregnant. Those four days are better than none and because you are BF Edgar, Chris is reaping the benefits too.

But Chris is getting benefits of breastmilk because you are breastfeeding Ed. Also, they're not going to remember or be troubled by the fact that things were different for them when they were little. My mum says that I had hardly any toys when I was little because I was the first and she didn't know anyone because they had just moved to a new area. In contrast my youngest brothers had mountains of toys because she had loads of toys already from me and my other brother and she knew lots more people by then and also because they were twins, more people bought presents (and also gave two of everything). Apart from that I can remember playing with my brothers' toys when they were babies, none of us can remember it and we aren't upset by it in any way. I'm sure as adults they will both look back and know that you did the best you could for both of them.

Nasty things. Apparently it has to stay within the boundaries of your property.

    Thank you Susan! :D

My dad shoots his air riffle in the garden :o
speaking of which I've decided to try my hand at rabbit, must check season and ask Daddy to go hunting(not sure what he'll do now he's dogless :(/:mad: get a doggy daddy!)
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

blood test or scan would be the only other ways. I don't know how common it is though especially if you had obvious symptoms both times before?
Have you spoken to the doc about it?(I don't know how long it would be before they cared though)
I did, but missed an appointment, gonna give them a bell in a min.

    Hope everyone's ok.

    keely.

Question: Tell me how you feel about this (Try to control me boy you get dismissed :p)
I want to get Edgar Christened in the next couple of months,
I got all the 3-6mth clothing out last night for Ed and turns out the outfit Chris wore for his (at 8mths!) was 3-6mth size.
ignoring MSE reasons do I use it again for Ed or get him his own outfit?

    Its this outfit http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=253689&l=c171f67002&id=541141775

even better use it agiain pass it on to your sister/brother/cousin for their little ones and it becomes a family heirloom :D.

  • Yes it is her Sami, I didn't think she'd changed much but looking back she has loads lol... The very swish dress was my first ever eBay purchase :D £7.50 and £2.50 postage... My Nana asked me where I got it from, when I said eBay she said 'Is that in Walsall?'

Gah, my tutors coming round after school and the house is a bomb site... Everytime I put Caitlyn down she either whinges or someone rings up! Haven't hoovered in about 3 weeks!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

yay the medela mini electric arrived today and not only was it clean but it has doubled my pumping output!! :j:j:jNoisy, but works ;)

Your all talking about gaps between pregnancies and I was thinking earlier that 4-5 years is so not a good gap. One at school, one at nursery and a newborn is not a good combo  Had we managed to conceive when we tried after DS1 the gap would have been 2 years (DS1 was 1 yr old). I can see lots of good points about having babies close together. Money saving, as one grows out of something the other grows into it, they are about the same age and level so should play together and keep each other occupied, all your sleepless nights are done in a few years rather than over a longer period of time same with nappy changing days. No having to worry about an older child with lots of lego and a baby who can choke (like what I have just realised, DS1 got lego starwars stuff and how do I keep Amber away from it?!)

Better go clean this pig sty of a house.

Sorry. They're nasty things when people aim at little boys with them (which I am sure your dad doesn't.)
