Hi everyone, just been trying to catch up but there's too many pages to read!! I'm glad i missed some bits while i was offline though lol (dont have much in way of boobs to feel up boo hoo).

We've got a fault on our phone line which is being looked at today, no internet for 5 days now :( I'm using my mom's laptop to check my ebaying and stuff.

Elliot's ill with a cough and cold, along with major teething. So that's been fun, little sleep and him crying his eyes out inbetween coughing and wiping snot over my lap! His party went well though, he had a good day even with not feeling well.

Once i've got the internet working, i'll post some photo's (as promised last week) if anyone's still interested? :)

    Keely.

    hi

just a quickie - when sending off child benefit forms can you just send short birth cert or does it have to be the long one?!

A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
  • Toby has gained an average of 10oz a week for the past 21 weeks. This week he lost 5oz. The three other ladies I had coffee with, thier babies all lost. Two others I spoke to stayed the same, and one baby had a gain of 4oz (hadn't been weighed for 3 weeks). Does this sound like the scales are wrong? Everyone I asked, no one had a decent gain, and the losses were all unexplainable. Toby has eaten well, had lots of wet nappies, is happy and alert and not any hungrier than normal. Health Visitors only advice was to give him baby rice, and really I should have given it sooner.

Sounds to me like faulty scales!

I'm sure if Toby had been hungry he'd have let you know about it! :D

It'll be funny if you go back next week and they've got the scales sorted, and he's put 25oz on! :rotfl:

  • Thought I was on top of all my 'jobs' for the day! (I do a list every morning so I do things rather than just sit on my a$$ all day gossiping) I kind of am but Argh I put Lexis light washing in the machine before and I bought her a new denim dress with nappy knickers last week from Baby Gap Im sure you have guessed what I did? Put the sodding Knickers in with all her pink and whites .... Its all come out of the washing machine blue and crappy looking! I could cry, there are about 4 brand new outfits in there. Help somebody please......

  • get some of those sheets oh um can't remember what called yep colour catchers, put them in with ruined cothes and try again, might help, not always but sometimes does.
  • i've still got a box from a similar accident over 5 years ago, can be found in the with washing eisle next too stain removers and such like. red box unless they changed packaging.
  • i think the scales are faulty too, go with the baby as long as eaten as normal and happy, nothing to worry about, maybe bubs is moving bit more this week? only a thought haven't checked bubs age to see if that would make significant diff.

boy back from tesco had his prune juice and now we wait.......he keeps going off to "hide" and i'm hearing strange noises from under the table, hopefully won't be long.
  • hurray, result in half hr from drinking juice, not bad!
