Oh thanks MFD and SM, that's helpful. Think I'll drag my mum with me, she's better at arguing with shop people than me. I'm not very confrontational, I'll end up not getting sleep the night before I go back because I'll be so worried, I'm such a worry wart!
Yesterday when I picked up Keira from nursery, she was putting on her trainers as she had been prancing around in the dress up shoes, and the assistant was amazed she could put on her own shoes - They are velcro !!!!!!! Surely the other kids must be able to put on their own shoes? I wonder if it's because half the parents don't give a !!!!!!, so never teach them?
Oh yes and one of the women took her 4 year old home in a buggy yesterday, soon as they are outside she plonks him in it, gives him a bottle of juice and off they go, now I can see that would save time, I know myself Keira has days where she is a nightmare, but honestly, a buggy! (there is nothing wrong with him either, like a disability etc) Think it's just sheer lazyness, anyhow, now Keira is warbling on about using her pink buggy, it's in storage and has been for about a year and a half now......grr0 -
10mins-ish and so fad Ed has had 0.2mls :rotfl:
Slowly but surely!I have taken to adding Lexis to a bottle if she happens to need it, sooo much easier!

all caught up = just in time for Katie to wake up for her nap....! D'oh/. at least i have ths dinner prepared - am so worried about it!!
Thanks Sami, and Krystal -- ive changed the setting to high, and put my timer on to change it to low in about 2 hours, so fingers crossed -- ill prob be on later tonight starving cos dinner didnt work out. ill be gutted if it doesnt!!
Christopher is being awful fussy today. usually i can feed, wind and change him. a few minutes cuddles then put him in bouncer/moses basket and he will fall asleep so i can tend to Katies demands, but today he just wants held. as soon as i put him down he is crying.
do you girls think that colief would be good for bringin his wind up, or is it specifically for babies with colic!? Infacol is like giving him water, gripe water makes him puke it all back up and i think he becoming used to the dentinox drops. so at the minute is pretty impossible to wind him!!
Sami - does Ed not like it? cant you give it to him with a syringe??Carla-Farla!!

I found it kept draging over the greasy parts but the plain burnt on came off quite easily considering... I used a bit of washing up liquid to cut through the grease in the end...booo hoo, elbow grease it is then
I usually use Oven Pride but it smells really strong. You have to leave it overnight (or for a long while) and I know that when it'll be time to wash it off and clean it up (which takes ages), I'll have a baby that will need my attention :rolleyes:0 -
Just booked a Next sale slot, want some new jeans and they have some in the listings, also managed to get some of the Max Factor mascara at last. Should be cleaning not shopping!Too many children, too little time!!!0

Well syringe of calpol all gone, I'd guess about half is on the 3 tissues I needed to mop up the drool
Carla he doesn't seam to like the taste, he pulls an eww this is yukky face and has a really strong tongue thrust and gag reflex so I have to drip it in bit by bit and make sure it's under his tongue or I get thrown up on! He also has to be really calm when I give it. He has only had 1 bottle once so not sure if he'd take it in a bottle with some milk (I REALLY should give him a bottle more often now) and he won't have a dummy so I can't use one of those medicine dummies either.
With Chris I could just squirt it in even if he was screaming and he'd happily swallow it but not fuss pot Edgar0 -
Sami - Toby doesn't like calpol. I squirt it in and none comes out. I wait a couple of minutes and then think it is safe, only for it to be spat out then! He keeps it in his mouth for ages before spitting it out,Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
