Just a quick hi to everyone before I run off to collect DS1 and then entertain a group of 20 or so 8 year olds
Met the rudest elderly woman every in the bakers today! DS2 was picking what he wanted, me saying 'sausage roll, pie, bridie etc' and him saying onion pie (he says it nunn-ei) so then I ask him 'hot or cold' and he says cold (oll). So this old bat pipes up that he should be able to speak correctly at his size and I must be letting him sit infront of the tv all day!:mad::mad: I made a bit of a scene and yelled at her 'Excuse me?!?! ' (universal code for any more and I'll pan yer face!) I was soooo mad!!! She left in a big huff with mutterings (but not to me face) about disgraceful. We had to then pick a cake and I was still shaking when I got home.0 -
Just heard a frantic miaowing and scrabbling at the front door... The back kitchen window that the cats use to get in and out is closed and the cat shot out earlier when my friend called round and couldn't get back in again... I walked up the hall and all I could see was the cats face pressed up against the glass (half glazed door) opened the door and he's just hanging there halfway up the door... Was so funny...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
